They did a fine job on our glass doors, but when I called to find out price, I was quoted $150 per door. We had two single glass doors. After he was finished he charged 300 per door. Big upcharge. I am sorry we did not get quote in writing. Will never agree over the phone again. read more

Ancient beat up sliders that were over 30 yrs old and I struggled everytime I needed to open or close. A1 came on time, Labor Day I might add and now they work better than ever. Theses guys saved me since this was our enter and exit for our dogs to backyard. I can recommend them more highly. I want to thank..., and recommend, A1 Sliders and its owner Tony for the excellent work he did on my old kitchen sliders. The house was built in 1982. I bought it in 2017, the doors are the originals from when the house was built. I thought I would have to replace the entire door because it wasn't sliding any more. I met Tony at the Home Show and he told me he could fix it..."as good as new" he said. He came over the next week. He had the correct wheels for the door, (Which others had said were unavailable due to the age of the door), replaced the track the door rolled on and corrected some other problems with the doors. The slider works..."as good as new." The price was very fair considering a new door is between $1000 and $2000. This guy Tony knows what he's doing and doing an excellent job. I highly recommend Tony and A1 Sliders if you need any servicing on your sliding glass doors. Mine were getting stiff and difficult to open and close. I had another company come out to look at them and was given an estimate of $690.00 for the three doors. Tony gave me an initial estimate over the phone of $300.00 Upon him arriving and checking out the doors he told me the rollers didn't really need replacing, everything just need to be lubricated really well and a few minor adjustments made. Tony did a fantastic job restoring an 18 year old sliding door. It was in very bad shape. Took Tony about 2 hours to have it working great again. Have Tony fix yours and save a bunch of money over replacing the whole door and frame. One last thing. I had to reschedule the appointment at the last minute and Tony agreed to arrive early to accommodate the change. Very Highly Recommended! read more

Had Tony out to the house today, thinking i needed to replace all the rollers and hardware on my sliding glass doors. Tony advised it just needed maintenance. There was also a lock that has not worked in a year I thought that was gonna have to be replaced Tony was able to take it off oil it and it works just fine now saving me the cost of buying a new lock. I have yet to find another company out there that will actually repair sliding glass doors versus everyone else about the Adam wants to replace them.... and i have a lot of them!!! I would recommend him for anyone that doesn't want to pay $10,000 to replace their sliding glass doors instead, first have him come out and look at them to see if they can be repaired also he does windows. The last time I had to have a window replaced on my sliding glass door it was $600, he told me to call him next time he could do it for a lot less and his repair and maintenance prices are very very very reasonable!!! I am new to FL and purchased a 30 year old home which has 2 double and 1 single sliding doors. When I first operated them (one would not close completely) I thought for sure that I was doomed and would have to spend a fortune in replacing them. Tony came to the rescue. He came to the house the next day at the time he said he would arrive. Super nice guy and very knowledgeable. 3 hours later, I have 3 doors that function better than new. Simply amazing what Tony did to make these doors glide as if they were on air. Exceptional work and very pleased. His superior work does come at a price. He replaced 10 wheels, cleaned and lubricated the door tracks and locking mechanisms, adjusted doors and replaced a lock catch and if my math is correct, I'm estimating that he was paid roughly $200+/hour for his labor. Based on the good reviews, we called Tony to come out and see if he could get our slider in working order. We had been having trouble with it for awhile but recently we really couldn't use it at all. Tony came out within a couple of days of our call, took one look and said he could get it working like new at a reasonable cost. He did a great job, replaced non working parts and gave us tips for keeping it lubricated. We were thrilled with his work since we originally thought we may have had to replace it. Based upon other outstanding reviews, we called A1 Sliders to repair our hurricane impact sliding doors. They were in a rusty state of disrepair. What a great decision to call A1 Sliders. Tony is as charming as he is conscientious. I don't think he can do a bad job. He arrived bright and early so by late lunch he had brought 3 large glass sliding doors back from the grave. Fantastic work, very affordable and honest. Our slider doors barely opened and we thought the only option was installing new ones.
