Overhead Door Company of Daytona installed both of our doors 23 years ago! We live out in the country and they've gone thru alot of abuse but they stood up. I think we've called them twice for maintenance in all of these years. This time we had to have a motor replaced, sensors, remotes and controls replaced. We ordered a garage door from Overhead Door Company which did take as we were told about 4 to 6 weeks to arrive. We scheduled the installation for today, and the two installers arrived between 8am - 8:30 as they had indicated. They removed the old door and the tracks and install the beautiful new 16x7 white flush insulated panel door with a sturdy low-headroom track by 2pm. They were efficient and professional, and very knowledgeable. They made sure to clean up their debris and residual dust from the garage floor. I called on a Tuesday morning and they were able to get someone to my house by 1:00. He even got there earlier than he said he would and waited for me a few minutes. Within an hour, my garage door motor was replaced and it's much quieter but just as fast as the old one. read more

I used this garage place for repair of my HORMANN garage door openers. No one in the area works on theses special Germany made doors. I have had them for now 17 years. HORMANN onlinetold me it sounded like a mother hoard so I ordered on from them and Overheard installed it. Works great. read more

What a frustrating experience. After waiting a month longer than I was told when I ordered, I believe I've lost more than $7,000. Today (4 months after ordering) was supposed to be the installation day. I received a call at 8:30 am to be told that they didn't have all of the parts and that their installer had called out sick. Really? Do you mean to tell me that your warehouse accepted goods without inspecting them? Do you have no other installers? Their manager said he was on vacation and didn't know any of this until today. I CALLED ON FRIDAY TO CONFIRM AND WAS TOLD EVERYTHING WAS FINE. So, to recap, Liars, Cheats, Liars. We purchased a property that has 9 Overhead Door faux wood finish doors. The paint is peeling off on the ones that get direct sunlight. I called the company up and the only thing they said was find a painter. Absolutely no help what so ever on helping me find a solution or even a specialist in painting garage doors. When I called, I asked about all charges that would apply when they come out. The agent didn't mention the service fee even though I asked. They quoted me $50 for the repair. Then when the repair person came out, they suddenly have a service fee of $89. I EXPECTED a service fee but they didn't disclose it until AFTER the service and it's larger than other service fees which average between $30 and $50 elsewhere. This is HIGHLY UNETHICAL. The manager says there is nothing they can do. He gave a $10 discount on the $89 service fee. Hector did the work and was efficient. read more

We used Overhead Door to replace the wall switch in the garage and to add a wireless entry keypad. Derek the technician did an excellent job with the installation and instructions on how to use the wireless keypad. Everything worked great. We had one issue later in the day when my wife returned home with her car. The homelink opener in her car did not work. We called Overhead Door and spoke to Claudia. Claudia identified the issue with us and then walked us through the fixes. The issue was the number of devices programed to the door. The fix was to clear the door memory and reprogram the current devices to the door. After performing the necessary steps everything works perfect. We would use Overhead Door again. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. We failed our final inspection because of their lack attention to detail, hence delaying our much anticipated move. Then in order to rectify the situation and minimized the delay to move, I was forced to drive 45 minutes so that I could finish doing something they should have done correctly in the first place, giving their customer service rating another 0. The icing on the cake is that I HATE these garage doors; they are the ugliest, cheapest, loudest pieces of junk I have EVER Seen!!! Worst experience ever with this company. No communication. We are a GC and used them as a sub contractor. Tony the sales rep. Garbage. Doesn't answer the phone and lies excessively. They have a permit they need to close out and no one put the paperwork for the product approvals and they failed inspection. Bunch of incompetent people. read more
