Very Disappointing Experience with Affordable Locks and Solutions…read more I had a very disappointing experience with Affordable Locks and Solutions. I contacted the company to have my door lock rekeyed, but the technician damaged the lock during the service. In addition, the technician who came to fix the broken lock reported incorrect information about the repairs, and the company is now asking me to pay for a problem that resulted from the technician's work. The company initially told me that their policy is to perform work only after the customer approves the invoice. However, when they returned to address the issue, the technician asked me to sign the invoice for payment after the work had already been completed. This was not consistent with what the company had originally told me about their process, that the customer must approve the invoice before the work is performed. I do not believe I should be responsible for paying for a repair resulting from the technician's mistake, particularly when the company's own stated policy requires the invoice to be approved before work is performed. I have repeatedly asked the company to provide the approved invoice and have requested for a copy of the approved invoice but I have not received a satisfactory response. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Affordable Locks and Solutions. I expected professional service, accurate reporting, and accountability when their work resulted in damage to my lock. Horrible service.
