I have attended a dinner event in the venue side which was gorgeous and very spacious! The restaurant is a good size, and has a beautiful bar in the center. Large booths on the perimeter and probably about 20-30 tables total. This meal was delicious, and not as pricey as I expected. I got a seasonal salad and added steak on the side, which came out in steak bites. These were a little overcooked (I asked for med rare, closer to med well), but tasted delicious! It must have been their wet aging process since this was some of the most flavorful steak I've had! The salad was good as well, and the dressing had a great sweet flavor which I love. Plenty of toppings as well--they were very generous with the goat cheese, craisins, and spiced nuts! My husband had the cowboy sandwich and loved it. The fries were good, and the sandwich had a ton of great flavor--again, starting with the meat! Our Brussels sprouts appetizer was delicious as well. Cooked perfectly, and plenty of delicious flavor from the balsamic reduction. We had great service, and did not have to wait at all. We came in on a Wednesday night and there were plenty of tables available. I'm so thankful a spot like this opened up in town! This will definitely be a go to for me going forward!

It has been three years since we were last in Nebraska, but Husker remains to be the best Steakhouse in the area. My cousin had the Chicken Fried Steak, our daughter had the Jack Daniels Sirloin and my wife, being vegetarian had salad, green beans and baked potato. All were excellent. The Jack Daniels flavor was a bit strong on the steak but she enjoyed it also. I was fortunate to have the last Duck special. It was remaining from the Thursday night Duck Feast. Wow. It came with Duck Stuffing, Sauerkraut with Dumplings and a huge serving of Duck. The hostess at the front was extremely friendly, and even checked on us to ensure a server was going to visit us. The server was excellent. She had perfect timing and was very engaging. Thank you Husker for being such a great Steakhouse and a great place to visit.
