They only got one star because I couldn't give anything less. After a driver from the company cut me off and a truck who ended up passing him, he then slammed on his brakes and drove as if he were wanting to provoke something. He even beeped at the truck who had passed him that was pulled over a ways down the road. It was very odd. I decided to call the company to inform them of the situation and how their worker was representing their company. The woman who answered was great, apologized even though it wasn't her fault, reassured me it would be rectified, I felt relieved and confident the company would do the right thing...that feeling lasted about 5 minutes when the owner called me back, telling me I had mental problems, and that it was him on the road and he in fact didn't cut me off...or act in the manner he did...wow! He was argumentative on the phone, telling me the incident didn't happen, talking over me, name calling and clearly beyond unprofessional all around!! I found A&B Locksmiths while I was in my car on a phone search, trying to find someone to make some keys for me. The A&B listing gave a business street address and even mapped the location out for me. I drove to A&B and noticed it looked like a residence, so I called the business number instead of knocking on the door. When I told the A&B representative I was in his driveway and asked if he could make some keys for me he said, "No. This is my home. You're not supposed to be here." And then he hung up on me. Really, if you don't want people driving to your business, you shouldn't provide a street address and then map it for them. Also, the tiniest bit of professionalism, courtesy and kindness in explaining the non-home based service policy would have been appreciated. I ended up going to Bob's Lock & Key in Laconia. The price was right, and the service was fast, friendly and exceedingly professional. I would definitely recommend Bob's Lock & Key instead of A&B. read more
