He has absolutely no respect, or regard for the privacy and personal information, shared, or disclosed during business transactions. This young man is disrespectful, unprofessional, and needs to learn respect for others homes, personal space and privacy. Professional & prompt. Peter, a technician, showed up at my lockout within 5 minutes (he happened to be in the area) and unlocked my door after I provided him proof of residency. It took under 5 minutes. Then he made me a duplicate key. He was friendly too! It was $100. I consider that worth the cost since the other Locksmith I called three hours earlier for help, "Portsmouth Locksmith" on Islington Street, never showed up after repeatedly telling me they were coming only to finally call me after waiting around endlessly to tell me they were closed and couldn't get there for an hour! Also the people who answer that phone are rude. Needless to say I hung up and called Roche! Glad I did. Overall great experience. read more

I called Roche Locksmith this morning as I was having difficulty installing a new Schlage Keypad Deadbolt. What a great company to do business with. I received a phone call advising me that a technician was on his way. John resolved my problem and I ended up having him install it and two door knobs. He also set the codes and keyed all locks alike so I only need one key if the keypads do not work. John was very professional, courteous, pleasant and very knowledgeable. Yesterday I dropped some stuff off at our cottage before heading out to Short Sands. I didn't realize I had dropped my remote key off until I turned my car off while waiting for my kids in the candy store. I had brought the dog with us and now I was a few miles from home with my two kids, husband who has MS and our old Corgi. I popped into Roche's knowing that with the new car keys they probably couldn't help, but maybe he would know of a local cab service. As it turns out he helped very much! The owner was in the shop and he kindly offered to run me back to the cottage and then to our car. He was so kind and pleasant, and he really went out his way. Such a nice family owned business! Just there for the first time in awhile. It's a family business, and it shows. The son , John and his dad both worked on my sons older Audi for the better part of an hour to unlock his back seats. They don't normally work on cars anymore but offered to try as much to see what I was talking about and said if they couldn't pick the locks the only way was to replace it ( dealer wanted a small fortune.) or break the lock. After contorting himself in the trunk John said there wasn't a way to unlock it without assuring it wouldn't be damaged. I told them to go ahead and see if we could get one side open and then make sure it would close. They managed to pop it without damage and it latches as it should. All for a whopping 25.00$ ! The entire time johns mom was looking up links online to see if there was some easy fix. There are not enough places like this around anymore, I'm lucky to have one down the street. I know a lot of people in town here swear by them. read more
