I have 20 other contractors that I give leads to that appreciate what I do for them. After providing the first lead that resulted in a $4200 job, I tried repeatedly to collect the $420 I was owed. Instead of simply paying what he agreed to pay, he gave me excuse after excuse and lied to me five different times, repeatedly promising that payment was coming. He told me he would send the money through Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, and other methods, but despite all those promises, he never followed through. The issue isn't just the money--it's the repeated broken promises and lack of honesty. If you make an agreement with someone, you should honor it. Based on my experience, I would not recommend doing business with Tyler Nichols. See the photo attached. Potential customers and anyone considering referring work to him should be very cautious and make sure any payment arrangements are documented in writing.

We had a written agreement via text about what would and would not be cut--including a specific, healthy tree that I explicitly said to leave alone. I am the property owner, and that agreement should have been final. Instead, they went ahead and cut it down anyway. Now the owner's son is claiming someone else gave him permission--an excuse I don't believe for a second. Then he had the audacity to double the price and justify it by saying it was because of the tree he wasn't supposed to cut in the first place. That's not just unprofessional, it's manipulative. I also paid for stump grinding, and what they left behind is a complete mess--huge, dangerous trunk remnants scattered across the yard, and a giant mound where the tree once stood. Nothing was leveled as promised. It's unsafe and sloppy. I paid hundreds of dollars for arborist reports that were never delivered. I followed up multiple times and was completely ghosted. The owner's son screams, refuses to fix his work, and literally told me to "take him to court." So I will. This company is dishonest, aggressive, and deeply unprofessional. The work is not actively supervised (the lead sits in his vehicle "several houses down" so as not to be in the way). They take videos of your property without asking. Brian came out right on time to give us the estimate. It was VERY reasonable, so we went with him again. The guys were on time and got everything done in one day, except for 1 of the little trees which was in the estimate. In addition, I met them at home during their work, and asked for 3 little favors, willing to pay for the extra, and Brian took care of it with no extra charge.
