I bought wha I thought was a new generator from Amazon made by Westinghouse Company. When new Adam came to my house and asked me if I was taken out of the box and ran it did not produce electricity. Adam came to my house as I am handicapped and had no way to get the generator back to any work station. Adam came to my house and diagnosed the problem right away and made me aware of the cost to fix my generator. Few days went bye he called me and told me he was sorry but generator was not new an had been apart by someone and tried to fix. Amazon and Westinghouse were both not willing to admit or pay for the generator. Adam gave me bad news on Wednesday that it was severely damaged and would cost more to fix it than it was worth.I told him to keep the generator as I had no need for it now broken. Adam suggested I would get a loan from him if a hurricane did form. That's was in my realm a true gentleman and business man who made a offer that was made to me. I thanked him for his honesty and service and to tell Putnam County and Crescent City he was a go to business man and was greatful of his service and decision to make it work out for me. I hope not to have to deal with a hurricane but now I have a way out of the situation. This man sits on a pedestal the future. in my opinion for our citizens needs, community, machinery, marine and any electrical and solar power for our community. My experience was not a good one. I needed power and switch to two outdoor lights installed in…read moreposts that were originally part of a carport. It took him longer than he said to get power to the lights, there were no junction boxes so he attached the lights directly to the wires which left the lights wobbly and not straight. Then he called me out to see gobs of caulking around the lights so water wouldn't get behind the lights. It looked like I had done it. Then I found out that I had no power to my bathrooms. I called him back and he said it was probably a GFCI problem and he did offer to come out. I was not willing to have him work on the issue again. Although I think he knows alot about electrical I found out he does not have an ROC#. I emailed him and asked what his license number is and I never heard back. Got a quote from another electrican for 1000 dollars to fix my issues.
