I was impressed they took great care to prevent the chemicals used on my tile roof from draining off to the lake I live on. They blocked the down spouts and then sucked the fluid after they were done. All of my down spouts go underground to the lake. The roof looked great for 4 years. No lawn/plants killed either. The house was done very well as well and the painter was very pleased. I was not as happy that the electronics (video cameras, video door bell and special hot water pumps were shorted out due to the washing. This cost over $1000 in repairs. In the future tape off and cover the sedative electronic items.

He did a good job the very first time he came out, which is why we reached back out and wanted to establish ongoing service. Unfortunately, after that, the communication became extremely poor. He was consistently bad at communicating messages went unanswered, plans weren't confirmed, and we never knew when or if he was actually coming. Then things escalated when he showed up unannounced one day and cut our grass without any communication at all. We had no idea he was coming, and it wasn't something we requested for that day. After doing the work unexpectedly, he then tried to charge us out of the blue as if this had been scheduled, even though he never told us he was coming. When we asked why there was no communication and why he was billing us for a service we didn't know was happening, he tried to blame us, saying we misunderstood or didn't follow up when in reality, he never sent a single message confirming anything. This was especially frustrating because the lack of communication was entirely on his end. On top of that, he canceled an appointment and later tried to up-charge us from the original quote, even though nothing about the job had changed. It felt unprofessional and unreliable, especially for someone we were trying to trust with ongoing work. Overall, if you want clear communication and reliability, I would look elsewhere

I have nothing but good things to say: he's an excellent communicator (didn't hesitate to call, text or send photos if he had any questions or issues came up) and they did a great job! When I finally saw their work in person, I was very impressed. I've used a lot of painters over the years in other cities, and Joe knows what he's doing and is a real professional. It was a quality job, and they were neat and clean about it as well. They also showed up when he said they would and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time, and he was true to his estimate with no surprise additional charges. I also appreciated that because I wasn't living in the house yet, Joe took the time to let me know about a couple of house-related issues he noticed when he was there, even though they weren't necessarily "paint-related". I will definitely use Joe's again and I will absolutely recommend him to others.
