I called and asked why I was being billed again and they stated it was because I changed services. This did not make sense as all previous billing occurred at the end of the billing period. There was no credit for the payment I'd just made. I decided to wait until they serviced the porta potty because we had problems with them showing up before. They wouldn't give me an exact date so I made sure to be there every day but no one came. After a week and a half I had to run some errands so I instructed my employees to watch for the truck. When I returned, 3 of my employees stated that the driver drove by without stopping, even when they yelled for him to stop. I called to complain and the driver said that he saw the goats, after pulling all the way up the driveway, but no one was around to keep them out of the way, so he left. All 3 employees reacted strongly to this information stating again that he never pulled in, barely slowed, looked right at them and then sped off. When I called, and they refused to come out again, I told them to just pick up the unit. He came 2 days later (even though I'd been told they had no time to come back out for at least a week) and nearly ran over the goats in his haste to get out of there! He ignored us yelling at him to slow down. When I received another bill, I protested that I was being charged for services that were never rendered. They stated that because the unit was still on the property, and available for our use, that I had to pay anyway! Trust me, no one was about to step into that porta potty as it was way over filled and full of flies!!! I refused and they had the nerve to turn it over to collections!!! Do not use this company!! As fate would have it, we were forced back to Gualala the next day to see a doctor and as I drove past Anchor Bay from opposite direction I knew we were staying that night. While in waiting room I called and they had a spot for my 24' RV that night. The woman was delightful on the phone and reserved our spot for the night. Pulled in right at closing time and got set up for sunset. This is a quaint little spot on the ocean with its own private beach. Dog friendly and beautiful as the waves crashed the shore. Hookup was easy, although I couldn't get my water hose to stop leaking at the RV inlet so it was puddling in the sand. Sites are a tad closer so you get to know your neighbors since they have limited space, I think only 45 sites. But as evening fell, you could hear the crashing waves. Was great to sit out in the darkness at midnight and see the moon reflecting in the crashing waves. Looked like electric flowing across the waves. A very memorable spot. There is supposedly a good Thai restaurant in walking distance with easy access from the beach. We only stayed one night, but would definitely go back. Our neighbors said they'd been there all week and meet up each year there.
