I live in Las Vegas and registered my vehicle and received NV plates. I emailed Caposio 2 times to resolve this issue and haven't received a response. I…read moreoriginally brought my car in on 9/08/25 with only 7,007 miles because the steering wheel and brakes would shake at higher speeds. The dealership diagnosed the issue as stuck brake pads causing deep grooves in the rotors, and they replaced the calipers, rotors, and brake pads. Less than 3,000 miles later, the exact same issue returned. I brought the vehicle back on 3/30/26 with around 11,000 miles. The rotors again had deep grooves, the brakes would shake, and there was an extremely hot burning smell coming from the brakes after only driving a few miles. On 4/8/26, I was told the issue was simply a tire balance, which made no sense considering the visible rotor damage and overheating brakes. After declining the tire balance, I spoke with service manager Dorian and explained my concerns. He stated he would personally test drive the vehicle and get back to me. I also explained that I needed a loaner vehicle since my car had already been there for over a week, but I was told none were available and that several people were ahead of me. After that conversation, I received no updates from the dealership. Near the end of April, I finally called to ask whether my vehicle was even ready, and the employee who answered informed me it had already been ready for pick up -- yet nobody had contacted me. When I picked up the vehicle on 5/4/26, I spoke with Dorian and technician Josh. They told me it was "normal" for my semi-metallic brake pads to chip and create grooves in the rotors. They also admitted they did not remove the tires or fully inspect the brake components. During the conversation, there were multiple contradictions regarding whether they could actually feel the shaking issue during the test drive. Because I still did not feel comfortable with the diagnosis, I took the vehicle to another dealership, Mountain View Chevrolet. Their technicians immediately found grooves and heat spots on both the front and rear rotors, uneven brake pad wear, and determined that the electronic brake control module was overheating and causing the brakes to stick. They replaced the rotors, pads, calipers, and the electronic brake control module. I am frustrated that my concerns were repeatedly dismissed, my vehicle sat at Caposio for a whole month with poor communication/no voicemails, and the actual issue was overlooked despite obvious symptoms with recurring problems from prior items that they had replaced. Thankfully, another dealership took the problem seriously and properly diagnosed the vehicle

He said $70 if that's good for some of you guys cool but I've gotten full oil changes for that price!! Got it for $30 down the street and I'm not even going to say with what shop cus it's not about that. Was just disappointed by the price if I'm being honest. Service on my car might've been great! But not worth $70 anywhere to take out a drain bolt and screw on a new filter and oil that I had already provided.

Jesse did a great job replacing the battery. In fact, the first one tested low in charge, so he swapped it out for another one. Then, it turned out my auxiliary battery also needed to be replaced, which he also did. Throughout the process, the business was polite and their secretary, Red, kept in constant communication with me via text message to confirm appointments and update me on Jesse's ETA in the field. The pricing was clear and reasonable, and everything was put back immaculately in my car after the repair (the batteries sit under the front passenger seat). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend D&J to others here in the High Desert!

I noticed how they dealt with their customers and it was polite, prompt, and professional. I witnessed their staff take the time to explain to their customer the issue they were having with their vehicle. Another customer was there and ready to pay his balance, transmission services can get pretty costly but I overheard what he paid in total for his transmission rebuild and it was not a bad deal at all. I am heading back to this place to have my transmission serviced soon. Give them time and they will provide good results.

Which was fine new light comes on thermostat issue took care of it two days later Bank two light comes on for catalytic converter. I didn't say much about it but I thought he was supposed to go through there really good to make sure that I wasn't paying for Bank One for no reason. As if I didn't learn my lesson brought the truck home dealt with it the way I needed to deal with it fine Bank two's bad I'll figure it out took my 2013 Lincoln MKS into the shop because it had a bad water pump. Have the tow truck deliver it when they delivered it I was there when he delivered it sunroof was closed they called me a week later and said my car was ready got in my car mechanic comes out of the back and says hey your sunroof won't close it was already closed when it got there fine didn't really worry about it too much maybe it's my issue put the car in the garage didn't take the car out until the Saturday afterwards for a friend to close my sunroof until I figure it out manually which I still haven't figured it out. It starts getting hot outside so I turn my air conditioner on guess what my air conditioner doesn't work now. Every time I said something about something being wrong with the sunroof or even the air conditioner which remember I didn't even make complaints about them not catching Bank too on the truck the mechanic says oh well the job that I had to tear half your engine apart and look on and grab your water pump from the inside which cost you $2,700 had nothing to do with the air conditioner which means he did not take a belt off of the air conditioner motor he did not touch the clutch or any of that that's what that means right so my air conditioner doesn't work. These guys are scams these guys will get your money these guys will complain and say that it has nothing to do with whatever they did when it definitely does they will never ever ever take responsibility for anything they do to your vehicle you will just be bringing your vehicle back in for them to fix it for an extra amount of money I overheard a conversation where the guy called and said you did my transmission a year ago can you take a look at it he said oh boy it's been a year yeah for $1,800 not bring it in not it could be my fault not let's see if I did something wrong nothing. So I'm going to get on High Desert Deals I'm going to get on high desert mechanics I'm going to Rally everybody together that's ever had a problem with this company from past and future and now and do something about this. After issuing them $6,000 between both cars not one mechanic said let me lift up the hood and see if I blew a fuse if I messed up the clutch in the air conditioner while taking off half of your engine to fix the water pump as far as they're concerned whatever job they did had nothing to do with what's wrong. As my return home was still over an hour away, I was going to call my wife and have her come get me but Lalo offered to drive me to his place which was only 15 mins away, saving my wife a round trip of about 2hr of time. Then on Monday he called to say the car was done and that he could drive it again to his house so we could pick it up there without having to drive up to get it! Even though there are probably 50 mechanics closer, I'd definitely consider taking our car back to precision auto should I need a mechanic again!
