I love that she scheduled a consultation before the baby came so she could better understand my ideas. I didn't have any specific creative ideas, just a fall theme since it's my favorite season and my son was born in October, Lindsay has a super creative mind and ran with it! I loved that she has a hairstylist/makeup artist in hand in case you want to splurge and get pampered for your session. While I had my makeup and hair done, Lindsay and her assistant started photographing my son. They got in several different looks before my family arrived for the siblings and family session started. She had tons of dresses for myself and my two daughters to wear, she helped us coordinate with my husband, and she even had toys for my 2 year old to play with while she arranged for the family pictures. I first saw her page popped up on fb under an advertisement for free maternity photoshoot with a purchase of newborn session. Of course I had to check it out and fell in love with Petya's work, the natural lighting and nature background for the maternity pictures, and how cute all the newborn pictures on her page are. We had to cancel and reschedule our appointment 3 times, but she was pretty flexible even with her tight schedule. Our photoshoot finally happened at my 36th week, in triple digit Texas heat temperature, needless to say, I was sweating everywhere! Petya came prepared with wipes for me to dab off the sweat, really took her time with us to help me relax and sweat less lol. It was our very first photoshoot so we had no idea what to do, but she was really great at coaching us how to pose, how to be natural. Don't be alarmed about the shooting location. We thought it was gonna be at the dog park (which is the address she gave us). Turned out, it's the natural preserves park right next to it. The house that we got ready in was stunning and had plenty of room for all the bridal party to get ready.

A TON of them have complaints about management and communication... Despite that we decided to take a look at them... made an app of online to come view on a weekend in one of their scheduled time slots, had a confirmation email, and made our hour and 15 min drive to this remote location only to have NO ONE show up. And to top it off their phone number on the front of the resort on their sign isn't even their number.... Finally got a hold of someone through a different number from the confirmation email and they tried to say we never had an approval even though I'm looking at a confirmation email... no apologies, no "hey I'm sorry we can have someone there in 30 min", just straight up blame and attitude on the phone and no compassion for us having spent 2.5 hrs of our day driving to see NOTHING! We won't be back!!! On the bright side... at least this happened before we spent a single dollar with them and not three weeks out from wedding time like so many frustrations and reviews you see on wedding sights.... and now we're doing destination anyway!!!

I rented one of the smaller spaces for two months and used it to create small and large oil paintings.
