We installed 2 new kitchens, 2 new bathrooms, rebuilt the back wall of our house to add large windows, added a deck, skylights, and a bunch of other things in between. At every step, Shafayet worked hard to make sure the house turned out perfectly. I have nothing but the best things to say about our new home and the care Multi put in to make it right. For this type of work, we received bids from a number of different people. Multi priced everything very competitively and they are very transparent on costs for change orders. The work included the relocation of 2 full new kitchens; all new internal plumbing; an upgraded electrical system; and the installation of split air conditioning systems throughout all 5 floors. The millwork / finishing / painting done by his team were meticulous, and we ended up 2 beautiful new apartments - a triplex with 2 bedrooms 2 baths, and a duplex with 2 bedrooms / 2 baths. Shafayet was always responsive to our inquiries / requests and provided solutions to the many problems that were encountered in a project of this size. He also coordinated well with the architect and third party vendors that were involved in this project too. It took us a long time to find the right company to do work for us. We knew what we wanted to have done. We did a lot of research to understand what our projects required. We wanted to be able to focus on the specific projects at hand and everything to be done the right way with the correct materials. We knew that we wanted a company that was versatile because we had different projects to tackle. We definitely did not want to hire a company that would outsource other contractors or workers. That was one of our main concerns. Corsa Construction Inc really fulfilled our check list. We met with the owner of the company and he really answered our questions and listened to our concerns. We spoke about the scope of our projects and we spoke about the types of materials that were needed for the job and we knew that we were on the same page. He was very easy to talk to very polite and attentive which is very important because if we couldn't talk to him during our first meeting we would never have moved forward. Everything just clicked into place. I have to say they are not the cheapest but they charge a fair price for the work that they do. Their prices were somewhat close to what we expected. Which made us feel even more comfortable with our choice. You literally get what you pay for. They have been working for us since Sept 2017. We started with having pointing work done in front of the building. Their work was very impressive. We decided to move forward with other projects and problems that we had to get fixed. Their project manager has a lot of very good ideas on how to tackle any situation that we encounter, plus we still have more work to be done. Today, we are still working Corsa Construction and we have been very happy with their work. Like absolute true professionals they show up every day like clockwork unless the weather is bad. If we have any questions or concerns they address it immediately. When doing large construction projects it can really be nerve wracking but working with Corsa so far has really put our minds at ease. He made stains on my side walk, leaving paint blotched. Lastly the subcontractor that he chose for the job has been harassing me because Kamil has not paid him. Any issue that came up were addressed immediately by Howie, the owner of this company. As the project was moving along, they saw ways to enhance different rooms in the house make it more functional and give us more space and updated it. The work is impeccable. There was so much that went wrong with the ENTIRE job that I ended up having to buy additional materials and pay the hired workers to finish the job for me, because the owner simply abandoned the job. He never paid his own workers for the work that they performed either. He took advantage of these guys and me as well. I want to say that the actual workers did a fantastic job, but it was no thanks to the owner. I had to negotiate a price with them to finish, what he hired them to do. From the very beginning, he came up with every excuse in the book. The start date was delayed, then he needed additional monies to continue (not finish) the job. Then if that wasn't bad enough, he then asked for yet another advance on the payments. I reminded him that he and I had a contract and that he was breaching it by not holding up his end of the deal. When we booked a consultation, his representative came out to my house and assessed the job. He then offered to do the job for 15% less than the lowest bid I had gotten. I saw this as a great deal considering that I had a few projects that I wanted to get done and was working with a limited budget. After reading his reviews and looking at his previous jobs posted here (which I am now convinced are ALL FAKE), I agreed to the terms and conditions, the contract was signed and the work began. He didn't start the job on time and by the 2nd day of work, he was telling me that he had fired his rep complaining that he had underestimated the job. I reminded him that, HE in fact sent me the contract, which I modified and sent back to him to update since the original left off a few items- which he did. There was never any talk about any under estimates at that time. On the 3rd day, the crew of skilled laborers (who are very hard working guys) came to me to ask me if he was coming to pay them and that he owed them more than $1,500 for their first couple of days of work. I told them that I had nothing to do with how he conducted his business and encouraged them to reach out to him. At that point, they pretty much told me that they were not going to finish the job until they were assured that they were going to be paid. That made all the sense in the world to me. I then reached out to the owner and asked him what was going on. He told me that he had run out of money, he would need more to finish and that he wanted me to ALSO pay HIS workers and that he would pay me back. I told him absolutely not. I had given this guy almost $10,000 and not one of the projects was complete. To put things into perspective. These were the projects: -2 walkways with pavers on both sides of the house leading to the backyard. -An L shaped paver pad for a BBQ area and Fire pit seating area. -A Fire-pit. -Downspouts to go underneath the walkways to drive water away from the house. -A cement pad under the deck area, later to be enclosed and used for outdoor storage. I got none of these even close to being completed. I ended up having to pay for additional materials myself and his workers to finish the job. After all of this, I was in contact with him and he agreed to repay me what I paid out, but now he has gone ghost. I contacted my attorney and he told me that this guy is doing some very shady business. We do have a plan to recoup my losses, which I will not discuss here. However, I would tell anyone who is even considering this company - DO NOT. This man and his company is a complete SCAM. His website doesn't work and his information is hard to find. Virtually impossible. We all work hard for the things that we want and this was a terrible experience. I am left (for now) paying back all of these erroneous expenses that I shouldn't have had to.
