My family has had four weddings to go to this past year, and we've seen many engagement pictures. When I saw the ones that Amy took I was completely blown away with her creativity and ability to capture the couple's personality and love for each other - not in just one picture but in 3-4 dozen pictures! I am an amateur photographer myself, and by being so, it helps me to see when someone else has a true gift; and Amy has a unique and powerful gift. So when I wanted to have family photos done to capture our own life's juncture of a college graduation - it was Amy that I called. She listened to every single idea I had for type of locale and the props I was bringing. She even brought her own props to help bolster the scenes I wanted created. In short she gave a lot of thought to the session in advance. During the session she was AMAZING. My family has always left family pictures barely speaking; instead we had FUN! She told us in general where to stand or sit, but we were never given all those horrible directions of turn your head this way and cock it like that, with your hand slanted over there, etc.... It was all very natural feeling. We took our dog, had three clothing changes, many, many props to contend with and multiple locations. Everything that I threw at her, Amy handled with aplomb. Five days after the shoot I let Amy know that I was having a difficult time because the dog that was in the shoot was very ill, she had one of the pictures edited and to me that day! Her editing skills are just as amazing as her photography and people skills. The only surprise I had through this whole process was her price - she does not charge enough for her skill level. She even runs specials on Facebook! I actually saw the special and didn't mention it when booking because I thought that it would be ridiculous to pay such a cheap amount for such good quality! My fiance and I decided to use A&M Photography, and LOVE it! She does nothing but try and make your life easier. When we went to get our engagement photos done, she did everything to bring out our personalities! It is hard to even explain how amazing Amy of A&M Photography is... From the first time we met to discuss having her be the photographer for our wedding, Amy was professional and warm. First of all Amy is just an awesome go with the flow person so in her pictures it shows. She does not stand there and tell you to get into all these awkward uncomfortable posses that ultimately look horrible to say the lest like other photographers, she simple says do your thing and ill snap photos. Wonderful would be an understatement. I've had Amy taking pictures of my daughter since birth and I cannot believe how much I cherish my photos as she nears her second birthday. My husband and I recently got married in May, and after looking at A&M's past weddings, hiring her was probably one of the easiest decisions that we had to make.
