Went in to get a lower end bike fixed. I get it it's a bike shop and they sell and fix more…read moreexpensive bikes but I was trying to get this bike through the last few weeks of summer for my child. I explained the issue. I know they were short staff and it was busy , my plan was to drop it off and pick it up whenever he said it was done (I was cool with a few days no biggie). Pretty much told me it wasn't worth fixing it's a cheap bike and I should use it for parts. I'm well aware the bike was cheap. Didn't give me a price so I could make a decision myself and it honestly felt as if he just didn't want to be bothered and had better stuff to do. No problem I was in the market for a bike for myself and my wife in the near future. Had no problem spending several hundred dollars. Will never come back to this place buy anything from here or have anything serviced. This is my second and last unpleasant experience here.

I got a gorgeous, used mid-90's carbon fiber road bike here for an awesome price after prowling Craigslist for many moons, and they were so gracious as to tune it up and swap out the pedals on my way out. Now, normally it's off to a rocky start only because it's Monday after a holiday, but now today on this Taco Tuesday, I turned it into a Terrific Tuesday. This Tuesday, I decided to get some work done on the computer. Then I went to go get my bike fixed--not my motorcycle, an actual bicycle--and I'm excited because I stopped into the shop and they fixed my bicycle tire right away, and in less than 10 minutes. I was in and out at a fair and reasonable price. It felt great. It was short and sweet and right to the point. The guy asked me if I should get air in my tire and he did it right there on the spot. My wife's bike was making a clicking noise that was driving her absolutely crazy. We had gone to a local bike shop (nicest guy), where the mechanic diagnosed it as a shot bottom bracket. Unfortunately/fortunately he didn't have the part. We then went to Hush Money Bikes hoping they might have the parts we needed. Once there we were assisted Chris who listened to my wife's explanation of the issue, as well as what we'd been told. He then very systematically started testing and ruling issues out. It turned out to be an issue with the seat post (yes, really). He had it fixed quickly, and at a very reasonable cost, especially compared to what a bottom bracket would have run. Also I personally would never have thought it could be the seat post!!! One other thing we both appreciated was that Chris test rode the bike, I've experienced a lot of shops that will have you do this. All in all it was a great experience, and my wife lives her bike again!

They don't want to sell you a bike, they want to sell the right bike for you. That doesn't always mean the most expensive option. I've heard people complain about pricing but I always feel like I get a great value. I knew very little about bikes and cycling and they havd always been patient and kind when explaining things. The crew here loves the sport and want you to as well!

Well.. they don't sell cycling shoes because apparently no one buys them in stores since covid. Staff was friendly, but advised me to go to another store down the road for shoes. I questioned them on that advice since I thought the store they indicated only sold running shoes.. but was told that they indeed sold bike shoes. Went to said store and sure enough they don't sell bike shoes. Wasted an hour driving around before going to another cycling shop that actually has all of the gear to cover you head to toe.
