Replacing it requires taking apart lots of stuff. More than I feel comfortable with. So I had these guys do it for me. They did a good job. While it was there I asked them to see if they could see a reason why my brakes were dragging on one side after I did the brakes a few days earlier. The greased then and made sure they were moving freely and didn't charge me for it. They were knowledgeable about each problem I threw at them and made easy work of it.

They claimed the short steering shaft was what needed replacing not the bushing. Got car back and it was still making same clunking noise in the steering wheel. Took it back to them. Now their telling me it needs a bushing - the repair I had asked for in the first place. Now they want to charge me an additional $200 + on top of the near $800 they charged me for replacing the shaft. They are offering nothing for their mistake. They are also terrible at returning calls and scheduling. I'm left thinking either I am paying for them to learn on the job or they are ripping me off doing work I never needed.
