There were no time-stamped photos provided to prove the damage existed prior, yet they still tried to deny everything. It's insulting and unacceptable. I was able to provide them time-stamped photos of all the damage immediately after install. Because of their negligence, I had to pay out of pocket to have a painter come back and fix the damage they caused. Why should a paying customer be stuck cleaning up after "professional" installers? This wasn't just inconvenient--it was stressful, costly, and a complete waste of my time. If you're going through Lowe's, be warned: this is the level of service you may get from their contracted installers. I expected professionalism and respect for my home and got the exact opposite. Saving an Old Deck. Our 18-year-old deck needed a facelift…read more Fortunately, we found the Link Solutions team to help address our challenge. As painting specialists, they understood that preparation is 90 percent of the job. Preparation was the main task with a deck as old and tired as ours. First, they power-washed the entire deck, including the 6'x6' support posts (9ft high) and sub-structure, removing mildew, mold, and caked-on dirt. The deck platform, rim joists, ledger board, and decking were scraped, sanded, and patched with filler. The railing posts, railings, balusters, stair risers, and treads were prepped thoroughly, including the cap rail, which was particularly weathered. We had our kitchen renovated and even after we hit a major snag and had a few hiccups, they remained dedicated to completing the job well, rather than rushing through. There were a few instances where our finished surfaces weren't covered after installation and work was still going on (cabinets, countertop, floors) and it would have been great to have them protected right after installation without us asking, but nonetheless they always followed through on our requests and respected our wishes as the homeowners and the finished kitchen came out great. The crew was respectful and we always felt like they really worked hard to ensure we were happy. Beckmann construction very clearly knows what they are doing and are great at it.
