This place is horrible. Fries were so salty and overcooked, they were inedible. Meet on the burgers was dry, overcooked, and old tasting. It's hard to mess up a soda, so one star for that. Won't be back. If this is the quality they are going to serve, they should just close before they kill someone. read more

I get it... it's New Years Eve, and they were the only place open, but like... I just had a baby and cooking isn't real high on my priority list right now. We ordered 2 bacon burger meals. We were the only people in the drive thru and there was no one inside the restaurant. We were handed our drinks at the drive thru and asked to park at the front of the restaurant to wait for our food. 20 minutes later it was handed to us ice cold. Not even exaggerating... pretty sure they forgot they made it and it sat on the counter for 20 minutes. Got it home and heated it up and it was pretty terrible. The fries tasted like onion rings and gravy and the burgers were just generally really bad. Ate them anyway because we were super hungry. I will never go back to this place. We went in on 8/6/18 around 9:00 p.m. I would admit that we took a little longer in the order line then we probably should be but we were pretty unfamiliar with their menu. The young lady behind the counter started was impatient and became visually irritated by us asking questions. Once we placed our order. We set and waited for our food. We ended up waiting 16 minutes and seen two other customers order after us and receive their food before us. After about ten minutes it became clear that the crew was more interested in playing around then doing their job. After the same young lady brought us our food and was walking away, she through her hands up with the peace sign and said peace out and returned to messing around with the other crew members. Our food was looked nasty. The fries was old and greasy. The cheese curds was burnt to a crisp. We did not even open our burgers. By this point we were done with this place. We went and asked for our money back. The shift manager was unapologetic for our bad experience. She even admitted that our bad experience was because they are within an hour of closing and the crew was ready to get off work. With both my wife and I, in the food service industry I would never allow my crew to act this way. It was way unprofessional. Would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Three major issues occurred during our visit today. 1) The advertised price was not honored. When large posters in the windows and placards on the menu board above the cashiers head advertise items at a particular price, it is false advertising to not honor. 2) At 1 p.m. there was a sign on the register for exact change or card only. It would be understandable if it was 1 a.m. not post lunch rush. 3) Poor customer service seems to be todays theme. When I asked for the manager, she immediately asked if I want a refund or the food. No hello, how can I help you, oh I'm sorry, just a question asked with attitude as if she didn't care if I spent money in the store or not. And finally a word of caution for any future customers when you walk in, be extremely cautious as the layer of grease is very thick throughout the lobby. As for me, I will keep voting with my dollars and spend them at other chains. read more

My husband and I were out Christmas shopping and thought we'd stop in and get an A&W Bacon Burger, since we had a coupon sent to us online. We should have left after we waited in line for over 10 minutes, because, for the most part, they left a new employee alone to work the register and she was hunting them down for help. When we presented our coupon the person above her said he didn't believe they 'normally' took coupons, but he'd go check [ I assume, with the manager on duty]. He came back and said they could take it. While standing in line, I heard another, seated couple, complaining about how long it was taking to get their food. So, I timed our wait. Nineteen minutes. When we got our order, the burger and bun were very cold. My husband took it back up to the counter and he was told by the manager that, because they keep the veggies at 34°, the burger would be cold. Plus, it was cold outside. My husband told him he ordered our meal 'to stay' and it was put in to-go bags by mistake -- we had never left the restaurant. Another customer backed us up. Plus, my husband ordered his burner with NO VEGGIES. The manager argued back and forth with my husband for a good 3-4 minutes. Finally, the manager relented and said he'd get us new burgers. I highly doubted it, and was leery of eating it after that. It came back in luke warm condition, but we ate them because we were hungry and strapped for time. It was not a pleasurable experience. The couple behind us, that had been waiting before we ordered, were still waiting. Her husband went up and was told that they didn't have their order in the system. When they finally got it their order, it was wrong. While we were eating, two other customers complained that their orders were wrong. My husband used to LOVE A&W burgers and root beer [ the root beer was disappointing, also]. But, after visits to this one, and different ones in our Tri-City area, I'm sad to say those days are over. The restaurants barely acknowledge A&W, as over 3/4 of the decor is all KFC! read more
