(Unfortunately, AAA didn't have them listed as mobile tire repair, so it took us some searching and word of mouth to find them - but once we did, AAA took care of the service call and mounting, and all we had to pay for was the tire itself. ) Thanks to Robert for being so quick, friendly, and hard working in the hot, hot sun, and getting us back on the road quickly.

The tech was very nice and in no way at fault. Next time it might be a good idea to offer someone options on a 2-minute repair instead of rushing out to collect nearly $300. Now not only did they lose any future business from us, but we will be telling everyone we know not to use Holt. I think that's going to cost them more than the money made from this. My 16 year old daughter had a roll over wreck and this company was called (I assume by the Sheriff's department) to tow the vehicle from the accident scene. We went to the business to retrieve personal items from the vehicle. We asked at that point what the towing fee was. We were told that the ticket had not been written yet but the daily impound fee was $20/day. After seeing the car, retrieving her stuff, we decided to get a trailer and haul the car to our property to decide what to do. When my husband arrived to pay for the towing, he was told that the towing fee was $500. He was surprised at this amount and questioned why it was so much. The operator responded with "It was a Sunday, I had to pay the guy, there was fuel to pay for, etc." My husband was not pleased but proceeded to attempt to pay. The operator was acting funny and when he turned to give my husband the bill, he said, "That'll be $850.00" My husband refused to pay and left. This is not the way to do business. I have not had to have wrecked vehicles towed before but I was shocked and dismayed at the exorbitant price and that they changed the price when we were displeased. Please do not use this business if you have any other choice available. I will be checking with the Sheriff's department to see if they use this company exclusively. BAD BUSINESS!!!!

My 18 month old grandson was locked in the vehicle from a faulty electronic key when his mom got out to get him out of the back seat. It was 8 PM at night with the weather 50 degrees. A call was made to this company explaining the situation. He stated it would be $85.00....which of course, as the other review states, is a rip off to begin with. But you have no choice in those circumstances, as clearly this owner knows but takes full advantage of the situation and all you care about is getting the child out. But that is not the bad part.....he wouldn't take a check or a credit card over the phone. If the car was available to drive to the ATM for cash, his services would not be needed in the first place. Another call was placed to him to make sure he could not take a credit card over the phone, as we all know, if you can take credit cards, you can take one over the phone. No....that wouldn't do for him. He would rather leave a small child locked in the vehicle, forever I guess, than not take payment in some form besides cash. Now, I don't know about most of you, but if someone called me and said there was a small child locked in the car, if it were 2 in the morning I couldn't get there fast enough if I had the means to help. I guess if the child just died in the car that wouldn't matter as long as he had cash in his hands. I have always been proud of the type of town I was raised in and the people who live there...but this is a shame and embarrassment to the good people in this town. I have lived in several cities since moving from Athens, and I can tell you I never ran into this type of treatment in large cities....... where you may expect this kind of indifference of a child's life. We can thank God for a good man who was able to use a door unlock device. I know that man must sleep well at night, but I sure do not know how the people of H and H do. Think how you would have felt had this been your child or grandchild. As a side note, this is something you may all want to look at as well. My electronic key has malfunctioned twice locking me out of my car. I have Embrace service.....their 800 number is in my phone. I called them and literally within seconds they have my door unlocked. OnStar does not provide this service. To reach them, you have to mash the button inside the car....well that really doesn't help much if the car has been locked. Just something you may want to keep in mind and not count on if you do in fact have OnStar.
