Not that I can ever get them to buy any of my stuff because obviously all my clothes are junk! It's pretty cool though because depending on if they do take some of your clothes, they can either give you cash back or store credit. And! like other used clothing stores they will typically give you more store credit than cash back. A lot of the styles are for juniors and most of the sizes run pretty small. They have mostly sizes small and medium, some large, and a very small handful of XL or XXL. They have some pretty cute stuff, some pretty whatever stuff, general stuff I guess. Not really work outfits though. The staff there is OK. Pretty much every time I go in nobody offers to help me or says hello which is a big pet peeve of mine. But overall a nice low-cost place to go for some cutesy little dresses and short shorts if you're into that kind of thing. Which I know I am!

It's also experiences like shopping at the Shiprock Trading Company that make us appreciate our home in the Bay. Why? Read on. My wife is a proud Navajo woman. She's also an attorney, and probably earns more in a year than the gross receipts this shop takes in in six months. Unfortunately, she doesn't have her bank balance tattooed on her face. If she did, perhaps she wouldn't have been met with the all too typical racism of a border town. Did she have to ask three times to be helped? Sure did. Was she treated with courtesy and respect? Of course not! It's Farmington! And she isn't white. So the white woman behind the counter was passive aggressive, hostile, and uncommunicative. Sweet. Does this bother us? Sort of, I suppose. It is a walk of several dozen feet to the next store.

The owners provider exceptional customer service and go the extra mile to help customers. They also offer layaway options. The store is decent sized. So much to see and try. I was so touched that the owner was so patient with my family and my toddler. They have toys to entertain toddlers. I felt at home in their store and highly recommend this place. I now have a new set of wedding rings since my former ones are too small due to my rheumatoid arthritis. Very clean and organized store. It's a must see in town!
