It's pretty cool though because depending on if they do take some of your clothes, they can either give you cash back or store credit. And! like other used clothing stores they will typically give you more store credit than cash back. A lot of the styles are for juniors and most of the sizes run pretty small. They have mostly sizes small and medium, some large, and a very small handful of XL or XXL. They have some pretty cute stuff, some pretty whatever stuff, general stuff I guess. Not really work outfits though. The staff there is OK. Pretty much every time I go in nobody offers to help me or says hello which is a big pet peeve of mine. This store offers no color tag discounts and no military, senior, or first responder discounts, so I usually go to Durango. This store is usually in disarray, has very little on the shelves and is overpriced. It has seemed a bit better the past two months so I have tried going there again, however the older lady who is manager was rude, condescending and flat out lied about an item, took it from me and put it in the back. I had asked if it could be discounted because it was broken, she said no, but then refused to allow me to purchase it at all. To say you cannot purchase broken items at Goodwill is comical, most of their items are broken or chipped and customers purchase them at a discount because they are. I will go back to Durango, the store is run better, the employees are not as unhappy. The young man who checked me out was very apologetic about how unkind the manager was to me but said, he was unable to intervene because if he "ruffled her feathers" she would make his job miserable.

I went in to fix a broken side mirror due to my embarrassing mistake of backing into a spot without seeing a concrete pillar. Jay was extremely knowledgeable and resourceful for the part and replacing it within (not days but) 1 hour. He changed oils on the spot without any upselling/throwing jargons and it was such a pleasant experience, which unfortunately I can't say the same about other shops. He is very kind and thorough, and I can tell that he loves cars and his customers. Looking forward to my next visit, I highly recommend this business.

I was told that the doll vendor from the Dusty Attic moved a couple miles away, still on Main St…read more.. and I was on a mission! You see, in a fraction of a second on someone's Youtube video about Farmington, I had spotted a doll cabinet... and within a 1930s Jaymar "Orphan Annie and Sandy" duo... And if anyone knows anything about me... it's that I'm an Annie fanatic... and my collection of vintage Annie dolls is expansive... but was missing this particular Jaymar duo... The owner of What the Junk, the lovely, friendly, immensely knowledgable June, offered her support as soon as I walked in... but I'm superstitious a little-- I have to "spot my find" by myself... ha! Once spotted, we had an extraordinary discussion, and it was very clear that June is a true doll collector-- and get this... she can also restring dolls as well! (Oh, if only she lived closer to me!) I suspect that is just ONE of her talents, she radiates wisdom and respect for history and treasures! Her store is an artful, eclectic delight of vintage collectibles, and it oozes with love from her big heart and delightful smile. Farmington is LUCKY to have a gem such as this-- in both store and in June! P.S. FULL DISCLOSURE: I was in town as my dog was playing "Sandy" in the local production of Annie... after having such a good time talking to June, I invited her and her lovely husband as my comp tickets to the show-- and I'm soo glad they came-- what a thrill! I truly hope that we can keep in touch and that they will look me up one day if they come out to Vegas!
