So I decided to use a photographer (Savannah Lynn Eldridge) based off of a location that I fell in…read morelove with and not so much her experience which was mistake one. Her work looks average to me, but was willing to take a shot. I asked her if this particular location was still available and the price. Price was $265 for an hour and was told there would be a 50% deposit. Told her I would talk to my husband and get back with her. He also loved the location and we were recently married so we wanted to have some pictures done. She also suggested another location right away (weird) which I responded I liked the one I first chose best. We booked for March 21st at 1pm. I paid my 50% deposit on February 26th. Never was I told this was non-refundable before the transaction. Three days after I paid she asked if she could change the location and the date because the resident of the location was not getting back with her. Told her I was not okay with a different location and that if it wasn't possible I would just like my money back. 20 minutes later she responded that the resident got back with her... okay... told her I was able to reschedule to the 18th of April. April 10th comes around and I'm curious as to whether I'm still getting my pictures or not as I've already scheduled with a makeup and hair artist, so I message her and ask if the pictures were still on. She said they had to be rescheduled and she would get back to me with a new date. I continued to see session after session on her page of shoots that she was doing. I was trying to be patient however it bothered me that everyone else seemed to be able to get them done but me. I left it alone until May 5th when I still hadn't heard anything back from her. Messaged her again asking for an update which she couldn't give. Just stated that the location wasn't open yet and also suggested another location yet again. Told her I would look and see if anything caught my eye which nothing did. (Basic outside photos with trees, no thanks)... continued to wait. I started getting a little more concerned about this all being some sort of scam this week. Things are opening back up now I thought, why no word on pictures still? I messaged her yesterday requesting my money back again. I didn't get what I paid for after all and didn't get the date I wanted. In her response she continued to try and persuade me into another location that I did not want. She was saying her and the resident were both being cautious because of the pandemic. (To reiterate she had still been doing sessions. Another excuse)! She also used the excuses of the resident has been very busy, the resident was doing remodels, and currently the resident is out of state shopping (seems super afraid of the pandemic to me) Basically at this point I don't even want to work with her doing our pictures because of the tension and I'm pretty confident she would have done her best to make sure they didn't turn out well because of me asking for a refund and being pretty agitated about the non-existence of communication from her end. She said that she can schedule next week when the resident got home. (Why if she just messaged her would we have to wait about scheduling until she got home? I'm now obviously upset, yet she couldn't attempt to make arrangements with the person because they're out of town)? She said she could offer me a free session until then. No thanks, I don't want to pay for hair and makeup twice. I'm also not trying to get anything free. Just wanted the shoot I paid for almost three months ago. Told her I no longer want the appointment because this hasn't been a pleasant experience and I haven't received any service or any type of communication unless I was the one contacting her. I was tired of excuses. She sent me another paragraph stating how she's been accommodating to me and basically how I'm being inconsiderate and ended it with "I'm sorry it didn't work out for you, but my deposits are non-refundable" I screenshotted all of our messages, pictures that she has been taking during the pandemic and booking new customers, and also where she never told me this was non-refundable.

Recently retired, I stopped into this salon and made an appt with Michi. I was so excited to be " that person " in a new salon getting my hair cut. At first I wasn't going to tell him I was a stylist myself but quickly felt as though I had to because I was in Awwwh at the way he cuts. He was extremely precise, asked me about my likes and dislikes of my hair, made suggestions and his technique was that of an artist. He took his time with me and didn't not rush at all. I left absolutely loving my new cut. From this day forward I new I found my forever stylist. I would highly recommend this salon if you are looking for talented stylist.
