They have items gathering dust- gee, wonder why? Clearance price items don't even bring up properly.. Bad selection, high prices, bad business motto, bad customer service- and they're closed in Sundays for 'religious reasons.' Gimme a break! Their business hours never suit the working consumer.. they close early, and don't open on Sunday.. Their motto is "Good Stuff Cheap" and I agree to an extent. I found me a good book in here. I really like their book section and especially the Inspirational section. I bought a women's Bible at another location. They are usually jammed packed with items. Take your time and look. Also, check expiration dates!

The vibe, concept, layout, stock, customer service and great prices are all part of the attraction.. they have a cute, varied mix of new and upcycled clothes and accessories, decor, jewelry, antiques/vintage items, DIY wares, art and beauty products. I remember visiting North Carolina and going to Gabe's. I love that it's a discounted bargain store. We pulled up and there's plenty of parking. This store is - odd.. they do carry a wide variety of lightweight home furnishings and decor, seasonal items, beauty, clothing, shoes, housewares, toys, gourmet food items, accessories, and baby stuff.. but it's so disorganized.. it's nearly impossible to look for anything.. it's like if Dollar General and TJ Maxx had a baby- it could be Gabe's.. They occasionally have a few items of interest, yet the displays are awful) yet better than than in comparison to the day they first opened)........but it's always a bit of a eyesore.. it always seems as if the manager needs to straighten the place up.. it is chaos!! Or vest are hit or miss/ sometimes low, occasionally off the mark.. I've seen carhart jackets and j crew pants for decent prices and yet I've looked at tankless candles pretty cedar as much as the original retailer and cheap looking sesdinal decor I can buy at dollar tree at an 1/8th the price.. If you want to go bargain hunting, be prepared to look around awhile- and bring hand sanitizer.. and don't be disappointed that toy couldn't find much because of the disorganized clutter!! Don't bother requesting help from an associate- even if you can spot one.. they do their best to ignore customers..

We stopped in after having business to do in the area and were delighted by this beautiful and whimsical little shop, which has lots of cute home decor, accessories, DIY rehabbed furniture, antiques, craft paints, jewelry, and much more.. I had no clue it was here til I saw the front window display with such charming items, which visually drew my eye, that I had to stop in. My husband and I shopped around a bit, saw many cute things we thought would look great in our redecorated sunroom, and chatted with the owner, who is super friendly, knowledgeable and nice..she carefully wrapped up my purchases, including some ceramic pieces and some vintage jewelry and mentioned they have DIY furniture/craft paint classes during non business hours, too- I dint know how much those cost, but the classes sounded interesting and I think we'll delve into that a tad more. We're both huge DIY furniture flip types, and rehabbing and painting (or just sprucing it up) old antiques and worn out furniture kinda is our thing now.. lol..if you're a "Flea Market Flip" or "Shabby Chic" type of fan, the restoration style of the merchandise here might be your thing. I know I was a kid in a candy store after finding this little retail gem.. and I didn't even know it was here. If you like country core aesthetic, rustic/modern, shabby chic or farmhouse design, you might like the stuff they have here. It's a little store yet there's a lot to see.. Prices were pretty moderate and the selection is quite varied, with great customer service (which is difficult to come by in the world of retail). I'll definitely shop here again.

What a hidden gem!…read more Found this eclectic boutique, located downtown in the Capitol Theatre building, after coming across its website. It's pretty much a treasure trove of cute, on trend clothing, fun accessories, whimsical giftware and some home decor, including tea towels, glassware, blown glass, candles and more. I have now stopped in on a few occasions and picked up some artisanal soaps, jewelry, and candles, plus a jewelry box and glassware. The girl that waited on me last time was super nice and helpful. The attention to customer service was amazing. The carefully curated stock is varied, boho and chic. It's quickly becoming my new favorite go-to boutique in town. Prices are actually pretty decent and affordable for the most part. I thought it's a great place to pick up a gift for the hard to shop for friend or relative. I found a really beautiful but dainty handcrafted necklace here recently that I think would be a great gift for my sister-in-law for Christmas. Don't forget to scope out the clearance/sale area in the back- it's chock full of good bargains.
