    cute tote bags :)
    Zoe H.

cute quaint bookstore, perfectly snuggled next to a coffee shop ? in a little christmas hallmark town ? it's checking all the boxes ~! between journals, various book genres, tote bags, & smaller trinkets for journaling, bookmarks, & just random items, this little bookstore has a little bit of everything. including smaller indie authors, which made me jump for joy ! only complaints that it is pricier, but that it's to be given since it's a smaller shop: would rather pay higher prices here than corporate :) the other one being that a lot of their selections of books are smaller - for example, the manga section was a small stack of books mixed into other genres. besides that, they have a good back-stock of books & a good variety for everyone looking for a warm read with their coffee, the car trip home, or just to have a new wonderful adventure to dive into

Cool little book store, stopped in because my son saw a dog man display and begged to read the new book, browsed around, had some cute things and interesting titles for the kids. Glad we still have brick n mortar

Such a cute little store! Although small, the book options were quite vast. The only downside was the layout of the store made it cramped. The staff seemed to be hiding behind the registers as well and only attended to those who came up with books or to those who came up with questions

I love books, reading up to 75 a year so a library is this girl's best friend. However, I like to support local bookstores as well so had to stop by A Book For All Seasons while in town. First off, I found out about the town of Leavenworth because of a Debbie Macomber book, When Christmas Comes and secondly I wanted to see if I could take a peek at some of the 6 themed rooms (Innsbrucker Inn) they offered right above the bookstore. I had a wonderful discussion with the owner's son about the book that brought me to this town - http://aroundthebayandaway.blogspot.com/2017/01/leavenworth-washington.html and was told about another author Sheila Roberts who had also written books with Leavenworth as their setting under Icicle Falls. Although it was not autographed as originally thought, it just seemed fitting that I get the combo Debbie Macomber/Sheila Roberts book Wedding Dreams where Roberts even featured owner Pat as a character in the story itself. I did get a peek at two of the rooms (Sherlock Room and the Wine Suite) the next day when it was vacant and the literary themed room is so perfectly quaint for a book lover like myself that if I didn't already have a room, I would have immediately checked in that night.

This bookstore is the perfect place for a respite from the hustle and bustle of Leavenworth. The inside is of modest size, but offers a good collection of gifts and popular books. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, this place has a quiet atmosphere that compliments the other shops in town.

    Best kids book selection!

Best selection of kids books I've ever seen in one store!! Currently loving and reading on repeat In A Jar by Deborah Marcero. Heartwarm message & extraordinary illustrations.

I agreed with Carrie H. It's a very small store. There is a good selection of items, and I thought that the prices were very decent too. My friends picked up some excellent gifts for their families and it's directly connected with the Starbucks, so say what you will. It was nice though to be able to use the bathroom before heading out on our trek through Leavenworth. This bookstore doesn't really stand out though. Honestly, not much does in Leavenworth unless it's Oktoberfest. Going during "off-season" is just not that impressive. It's a Bavarian themed town so that's about it. Just regular shops with a Bavarian shell. Nothing special.

Adorable little bookstore. A bit overpriced, but considering it's in a tourist town to be expected.

This place was crowded but sourced books seem like a good selection. I didn't stay long since it was too crowded.

Reminds me of the childhood days my entire household as a youth brightened up every December. Upon entering you are consumed by bright lights and sparkly ornaments.... As you venture from room to room you'll discover very common stuff to very religious stuff... My favorite being the lamps with blowing snow inside them. I could stare for hours at a miniature snowstorm consuming the city... Now upstairs is more including hundred of individual ornaments. Some themed and some not but defiantly something for everyone.. Pricing is kinda high but if you're in Leavenworth the. your on vacation so it's time to splurge... Defiantly if you're shopping on Front Street you'll wanna put this on your must see stores... Have fun if your celebrating Christmas and for those who don't well don't spoil it by being a GRINCH. And yes they have Grinch stuff for the a-holes who don't get the Christmas spirt!

The staff are fantastic to work with, they help me find the elusive ones, they come up with ideas when I have vague ideas, and the personalizing is great. One year, I brought home my stash and found that one was broken. I called them and they immediately shipped another, personalized exactly as the first, so I had the complete set. Shipping only took a couple of days and wasn't expensive. Yes, this place is overloaded with Christmas items and yes it is a bit overpriced, but I can find everything I want in one place, every topic, very idea, every need. The atmosphere is totally Christmas, the staff are great and the ornaments cannot be found elsewhere most of the time. If you are a grumpy gus or a bah humbug kinda person, don't go there. You will find lots to complain about. But if you love Christmas in any sense of the holiday, come and take it all in. The commercialism, the spiritual, and music, the lights. Around the world is represented. It's a joyful time of the year, all year long.

As the name suggests, it's a Christmas themed store that truly does justice to Christmas. It may actually be adequately name the nutcracker store as the selection of nutcrackers here is unlike anything I've ever seen. Do you need a nutcracker it looks like the mouse from the ballet? Got it! Do you need a center nutcracker? We've got that too. Do you need R2-D2 his nutcracker form? Not a problem. They've literally got an entire wall of the store dedicated to any and all things that will crack nuts for you. If got plenty of other Christmas related goodies as well including expensive ornaments and other Yuletide pleasantries. To that end, it's an OK place to bring your kids in, but you have to keep an eye on them as just about everything here is very breakable and often outside of a container. I can imagine the you break it you buy it rule comes into play a lot here, but it certainly shouldn't dissuade you from coming and checking it out. Since this is probably the place that Santa comes to shop, you probably should too.

From the moment we walked in, I felt like we were being watched the entire time. As a single mom shopping alone with young children, it was incredibly uncomfortable. For context, my children were behaving appropriately. They were not running around the store or touching merchandise. My 5-year-old simply had a pen in his hand while we were shopping. The final straw was when I asked a sales associate if there was an issue with us. She got down to my 5-year-old's level and pretended to punch him. Why would you pretend a punch my five-year-olds to wind him up when you're obviously watching me because you're judging. She appeared to be in a management position, which made the interaction even more upsetting. We still made it to the checkout line, and she continued watching us. At no point did she apologize or acknowledge how uncomfortable the situation had become. I left the earrings and didn't want to purchase. It's frustrating that a children's store could make a parent feel so unwelcome it was actually my two year old that depends. Shopping with kids isn't always easy, but families deserve kindness and understanding--not judgment. I left feeling embarrassed, disappointed, and certain that I will not be returning.
