When you buy ground beef from a large store, it was probably ground in a meat packing plant. It probably has preservatives. You don't know where the meat was sourced from and you don't know the conditions that it was processed under. They carry Boars Head deli meat and cheeses. Boars Head is high quality and always sliced fresh in front of you. They have the best fresh brats I've ever had. All of their fresh meat is top-notch. Their homemade dogs, sausages, marinated meats, beef sticks are all delicious. You have to try the BBQ baked beans. I could go on and on about all of their products! While we were there we picked up some of their pre-made beef sticks of different flavors from the counter, excellent seasoning, very good and tasty. We also had a whole pig processed by them, and the flavor of the smoked bacon was so darn good we raved to all our friends about it, fantastic! The experience and quality were so good we've decided to do it again with them this year, both half a beef and another pig. Could NOT be happier with these folks. We come down from St Paul and it's well worth the trip.

It was nice to see they didn't use msg in them. 4/5 as those other meat sticks were a let down. The staff was nice and bathroom was clean. Maybe I'll return to ufo days next year and go earlier. A nice 1.25 hour drive from the metro in MN.

It was not properly filled out when we were there, and after we complained, they sent a cut sheet completed after the fact to match their pricing and make themselves look right. The product quality was unacceptable--tasteless bacon, grey ham, ignored cut instructions, and "flavored" brats with barely any flavor. Others who raised pigs with us were given discounts and even free hams purchased elsewhere to smooth things over, while nothing was done to make things right with us. Instead, they claimed they "checked" their cameras and suggested trying a different brining method next time. There will be no next time. We will not return and strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere."

Weyerhaeuser is a little town in the middle of nowhere, where if you blink you would miss it, but this little gem is tucked safely inside the main town area, right off highway 8. Beef sticks, fresh jerky, any cut of meat you can think of, specially seasoned steaks, and all at a price that's reasonable. Whenever I cruise through the area, I make it a habit to stop in for some of their BBQ Beef Sticks, they are absolutely TO DIE FOR.
