Was able to get Wi-Fi working out on the deck to have them get us the proper code. 20 degrees while they are trying to figure out how to open the door. Went to go in hot tub 40 degrees. HSH response was we should have told them beforehand that we wanted to use the hot tub. When we booked, they should have asked. 24 hours later they finally got it up to the proper temperature. Too late for us to use. Store brought wood bundle that lasted ten minutes. Had to get my own wood. Having been a host in the Catskills for 5 years I would stay away from HSH. I feel bad for the owner of the property as they most likely have no idea what's going on. The last thing I want to do is spend time on the phone with these people who have no clue what's going on. At present I feel like I have to manage them, which defeats the purpose, and the 25% management fee they charge. My inference is, they have taken on more properties than they can effectively manage.
