You can't say anything negative about Dr G and his staff. Dr G realized with one look at me that something was wrong, my thyroid was not functioning. Best doctor in DFW area he spends a lot of time with his patients to make sure no details or symptoms missed.

The doctor is great and he'll spend a lot of time with you and so the gentleman who takes the vitals, but his front desk staff is neither kind nor helpful. They'll over schedule and you will literally wait for 1.5 hours each time. We've been coming here for five years and not even once were we seen on time and at the very minimum, the front desk staff could at least call us to let us know that the doctor is running an hour late so we can come later, but they never do. They have also messed up insurance codes several times now so we've had to spend extra time on the phone with both so the codes could be fixed. I'd only recommend for you to come here if you're solely Russian speaking or if are much older and need extra care and have time to spare. read more

I absolutely love Dr. G! He has been my doctor for about two to three years now. When I first started going there was a long wait, however he was totally worth it. Now, there is hardly ever a wait (unless Dr. G has a client in the hospital or another patient related emergency, which is rare). Dr. G has treated me for hypothyroidism and has the LEAST INVASIVE way to determine if my thyroid is functioning. I have referred at least four other people to see him. He, unlike most American doctors, understands the ENTIRE BODY and treats accordingly. I absolutely love this doctor and I travel a very long way to see him. WORTH EVERY BIT OF THE DRIVE. read more

Know before you go here that an evil office staff awaits you. Maybe pop a tranquilizer before you go. I waited for 90 minutes before I was told that the evil woman at the front desk (the office manager) had a problem with my insurance. Because of a typo of my birthday in the insurance carrier's system, this person at Dr. Grebbenikov's office would not let me see the doctor. So I drive 60 miles roundtrip to wait in the doctor's office and then I get yelled at by this insane female at the front desk. She seemed personally offended by this insurance company's error and treated me with such disrespect. Life is too short, my friends. I have seen other doctors with this same insurance typo and they have never had a problem with it, but this nasty female was the cause of my not getting care. The most unprofessional staff work for this doctor. I like the doctor and have been seen by him in the past but this woman is always a barrier and a hassle, and ultimately, the reason I will not go back. I wasted 3 hours of my day, drove 60 miles and have nothing to show for it. Anyone call to apologize for this unbelievable experience? Of course not. Get organized and get better staff, Dr. G! Awful awful awful doctors office, DO NOT BOOK. I had a 10am appointment with this doctors office, I arrived at 9:48am. 9:48am: Stood at the glass receptionist area and the lady behind the glass was completely unresponsive and wouldn't even look up from her paperwork. Decided to sit down after 5 minutes of trying to get her attention. No one else in the office at this point. 10am: Found out receptionist isn't behind the glass, but comes through the door to check for patients (no indication anywhere that this is the case). At this point there are 3 people in the waiting room. The receptionist comes out and immediately lets in a woman. Asks for my name and other person's name. Both of us have 10am appointments. He lets in the other person with the 10am appointment since she has talked to him over the phone on Tuesday. He asks if my appointment is through ZocDoc, which I reply yes, he goes "OH Zocdoc, that explains it". I believe they have to approve my appointments ahead of time. He leaves without any other explanation. 10:25am: Different person (lady behind the glass) comes out and asks if I'm a new patient, and then asks for my ID and insuranceTwo more patients go in who arrive much later than myself 10:30am: Finally get "new patient paperwork" (questionnaire on iPad about disease history) along with my id and insurance back 10:37am: Finished iPad questionnaire. 10:41am: Another patient who arrived much later than me is called in, paperwork still not picked up 10:46am: First receptionist (not woman behind the glass) asks for my id and insurance again and takes the iPad questionnaire 10:55am: After waiting over an hour I ask for my id back, to which the lady behind the glass goes "we are working on inputting your information" and goes back to her paperwork. I ask for my id and insurance back again and she completely ignores me. Asked a 3rd time for my id and insurance back with the explanation that I need to leave for work and another guy I haven't seen yet comes out and gives it to me, I say thank you and leave. Over 1hour and 10 minutes of my time wasted and not even sure I got past the new patient information. Awful awful experience and I will not be going back. Don't put your practice on ZocDoc if you don't care about the patients coming in. I even arrived early so I could get a head start on the new patient paperwork I assumed I would need to fill out based on other reviews I read here. I am 23, and this is the first ever review I have written and have felt compelled to write. Awful awful experience. I missed lots of work time for this and didn't get to see a doctor. I'm still feeling awful and this just made me feel worse and ruined my day. read more

I've been seeing Dr. G since 2005. After seeing many doctors (7) over a period of 2 years, Dr. G was the only one who could actually read a blood test. All levels were within the normal range BUT when this is a little high and that's a little low there's a problem...he was the only one who listened and with either the knowledge and/or the compassion for his profession to realize the problem. He treated me as an individual. Sometimes there is a longer then you would you would like wait time. This is a very busy office at times and staff can be stressed. I had to wait an hour to get out of the waiting room but after that it was one of the best experiences at a medical office. They have all the testing equipment in the office, so they ran some test and then the doctor saw me. He did one more test after meeting with me and then discussed the results all the same day! He told me what to do and I have been feeling better since. If the scheduling would of been better it would be Five stars no problem. Dr. Grebennikov diagnosed me after I'd unsuccessfully tried to get help with other doctors for over 10 years. He uses western medicine and supplements and doesn't have a line he's trying to sell, just showed me on Amazon what I should buy. I have not had any problems with his office staff, but sometimes it can take a while to get in for your appointment. I'm willing to wait because he spends all the time with me that is needed and I know that he's doing the same with his other patients. The only reason they get four instead of five stars is the off-putting check in. You just go in and sit down. There's a window but no sign in and no one acknowledges you. Do they know you're there, do they know who you are? Luckily it all works out but it could be more patient friendly. read more

We absolutely love Dr. Grebennikov. He is the most loving, compassionate, knowledgeable doctor we've ever been to and we've been to a lot. He tries not to do drugs all the time although when it's necessary he certainly does. His staff that works with him in the exam rooms are very loving and compassionate. He has extra things that he can do like take blood tests, give B12 shots, etc. When in the hospital, he's very, very caring and always visits his patients. Yes the office staff leaves much to be desired but maybe they will get joyful in time. There is always a long wait but we have accepted it - he is so worth the wait. read more

The receptionist refused to acknowledge my presence when I arrived. I had to wait 15 minutes before the lady would allow me to check in. Then I had to wait in the exam room for over an hour. I left the exam room to ask why it was taking so long. They said the doctor was not there! They did not have the common courtesy to ask if I wanted to reschedule, nor did they ever inform me that the doctor was not present. I asked, "How long were you going to make me wait in the exam room before telling me the doctor is not here? 2 hours?" Nothing, no response from any of the staff members. I demanded my money back. The staff lack office manners, no greetings, they don't open the window when you have a question, they don't tell you that THE DOCTOR IS NOT HERE TODAY! read more

Dr. Grebennikov is friendly and competent. Takes many types of insurance. Sometimes he doesn't listen (may be a language issue), but when he does he is excellent at his job. He is russian and clearly serves a lot of the local russian community. read more
