Would give zero stars if I could; they deserve - points. Very unprofessional, dispatch is unhelpful and displays a could give a crap attitude from the get go; basically acts annoyed they had to answer the phone. It was as if the phone had been forwarded to a drunken college student's dorm room who was hung over and pissed you'd woken him up. No joke! Service takes as long as 2 hrs to arrive, if they arrive at all. I cannot understand how this business is still running, even if they are the only one in town. This used to be a great cab company however over the years their service has swiftly gotten worse. Where they once had prompt service you now will end up waiting anywhere from 15 minutes to 3+ hours for a cab and this is due to the fact they are always short handed as they are constantly losing drivers due to them being compensated poorly and the fact they are overworked not getting a day off for weeks at a time. Most of the Cabs are poorly maintained and from what I hear the mechanics are lazy. There are some good cabbies among them but a lot of them are questionable. One of them, a young lady who is no longer with the company was on drugs or something one night when she picked me up as she was swerving a bit and nearly went off the road several times during my ride with her. Another one is this loud, moody obnoxious man who goes by "Red" who is a bit too nosey. Another former cabbie named Brenda was driving on a suspended license. The rest are hardworking cabbies and I feel bad that they don't get tipped because they don't have enough drivers to handle the workload and people are stuck waiting for longer than expected and don't tip because of those long wait times. Dispatch at times is absolutely rude. Prices have increased making them nearly the same price as a Lyft Or Uber but without the convenience or prompt service. There are no other cab companies in Cookeville because this one bought all them out yet the owner has bankrupted the company 3 times already and has had to put it in different family members names to keep it open. This next part is directed at the owner: It's clear you have no business sense as you've bankrupted 3 times already, poorly compensate your drivers and don't have competent mechanics to keep your cabs maintained and in good working order. I feel both you and your mother should step down as owners and sell the company to someone who actually knows how to successfully run a business as it's clear you cannot. read more

It took 3 hours AFTER the time we schedule the pick up. Called at 6am (after being told to call in the morning) and scheduled an 815 am pickup. About 10:30-11 they finally got us. There was a crack in the windshield, a wire sticking out of the back of drivers side seat, he hit a ditch so hard I thought the car was missing a wheel. We called every half hour to an hour asking where in the world the taxi was and kept getting the same answer- on his way. We live 20 minutes from Cookeville. Absolutely ridiculous, rude, and just a horrible business. Get an uber, it might be more expensive but at least you know you'll actually have a ride. This is the worst cab service I've ever seen. They are the only cab service in town. They're sometimes hours late picking you up. Their manager Wendy Flanagan is a thief. They owe me money from a trip I prepaid for over a month ago. They never picked me up. I've called numerous times and get the runaround. I personally never had any bad experiences , but was reading all these reviews and cant help but wonder if the ones that had a bad experience didnt realize later on how extremely difficult it is for ANY transportation companies to find the right employees to represent their business in a positive way. We all have our bad days we are human. Being a driver of any kind is extremely stressful, dealing with traffic, a time limit, rude customers, and stressing to make ends meet on top of so much more. So i personally can relate to it all , yes it gives them no excuse for unsafe driving , taking a hour for pick up, or not being professional by not taking their job responsibilities more seriouse, it makes the company look bad as a whole. horrible service, my husband called and was promised to get a car here in twenty minutes, over a hour later, he had to call again, then finally after totally waiting for 1.5 hour, the cab came, the driver didn't say one word, the car was filthy and smelled to sigaret smoke and my husband could hardly breath, his clothes were smelling to smoke and the driver him self was not clean either, my husband had to go to Nashville but the driver didn't make any effort to talk, what a horrible service for the money we payed, shame on them and we will never ever asking for their service. read more

The person on the phone was rude when I called to order my taxi. I had to wait over an hour when I was told I was the next pick up. One driver charged me $11 to take me 8 minutes down the road and a different driver charged me $8 the next day to go to the same place. Terrible experience and will never use again. read more

Worst cab service ever seen. Buy out all local cabs for their business but can't keep a driver to save them. Sick of hearing I only have two drivers. Called around 11pm on oct.30th needing a ride to get some kerosene for heat..1st place Breadbox on W.Jackson was closed.. Told driver to proceed to Tmart on Washington ave. Because i had bought kerosene there last year..instead he went to S.Willow Shell on his own decision. I constantly was repeating N.Washington. Dispatcher said fair would be $7 there and $7 back. I gave a previous review and it was a good experience but this time I used them and fucking beware horrible company someone told me that it's owned by the same company. I called yesterday at 10am on the dot and I got the run around for two hours eventually I said forget it. I really needed to go somewhere so I called at like 7pm and still no show of a taxi two hours later. HORRIBLE so eventually I said FUCK it. But this morning I still have yet to do what I needed done so I called and they said an hour but it wasn't until a hour and half that a taxi showed up. THEN the horror began. Actually I'm writing this review while I'm in the taxi. He is the WORST driver. Like he is going no more than 30 miles per hour and I feel like he's going to have a stroke any minute because he pressed the gas like he just learned how to drive. I'm not sure if he is purposely going slow to get more money BUT I DONT CARE HOW MUCH IT COST just get to me where I'm going and FAST! This is poor business practices.
