We were initially concerned with this taxi service because we had a hard time getting a confirmation for our ride to catch an early flight. Not sure what the issue was, but they continually assured us and confirmation finally hit our email after 10 pm. Jonathan was awesome! He was spot on for time and as nice as could be. I have user Uber in Chattanooga and their service is lackluster.And not always on time. So on this trip I chose Nooga Taxi. So glad I did! The dispatcher was friendly and helpful in setting up my days in advance reservation to get me to the Chattanooga Airport. I needed a 4:45am reservation. I live in a large apartment complex and the signage is not great, so not easy to find my unit. I got a confirmation call 45 minutes before my ride. My driver, Jonathan was exactly on time right outside my door. He helped me with my luggage and was so personable. He had been diving for the service for about eight years. Had an emergency concerning heart medication. Called Nooga taxi and was told 1 hr showed up in 40 minutes. Found that my driver Mark was actually my neighbor that lived 100 yds from me. I called Nooga Taxi for a quote from the airport to Signal Mountain just before leaving on an overseas trip a few weeks ago. Their quote was reasonable and they said to call and schedule a pickup closer to the date needed. I tried calling them yesterday during our layover in Chicago and, after 15 minutes on hold, gave up and called another service (that's a whole other review). After the other taxi service failed to show up at the airport I tried Nooga again and, again, no one picked up. We ended up renting a car to get home. read more

I was visiting Chattanooga and needed to get a ride back to the airport from my hotel, and a friend told me about Nooga Taxi company. I am extremely impressed by them. In this day and age you can not reach anyone, everting is online. Although they have all online capacity and I received an email from them; I wanted to call the night before. They answer the phone with no waiting, they arranged a pick up and sent me a confirmation text in few minutes, which in that text they will give you a choice of updating. Then an hour later I decided to update the time, they called and made sure all is perfect. I highly recommend them. And their price is way less than other taxi companies. We used this service when visiting Chattanooga for the weekend. I was worried because we stayed pretty high up in the mountains and had an early flight out. Great service. Good option for transportation to Sewanee University. Our Chauffeur was Jonathon. My daughter flew into Chattanooga on her 18th Birthday to visit her twin sister at college. flight that was a bit later than any shuttle service could get her to Sewanee, and hour drive. I contacted this company a few days in advance and they offered Airport to dorm service with a very good rate. I was very hesitant to use this service due to some slightly negative reviews I found onlIne, but I am very glad I did! We had to be at the airport at 4am and didn't want to risk not having any uber druver at that time , so I called Nooga taxi a few days before our flight to make a reservation essentially. None of the downtown hotels that I talked to offered an airport shuttle service. More hard to believe but I could find only one hotel near the airport that had a shuttle! I found nothing but 5 star reviews of NOOGA TAXI on YELP so I gave them a call the morning before my flight. The dispatcher line was busy but offered me the option of sending a request by text. It worked great. I was called back and the ride was arranged with a ballpark cost with no problem. The driver called 15 mins. before the 5:30 am pick up to make sure we knew he was on his way, and he actually met us in the lobby and took our bag to the car! I stress sometimes about travel arrangements. I've had bad experiences with unreliable cabs and shuttles trying to catch flights in various cities. It seems finding reliable transportation options is not easy in most places. I called this company the afternoon before my early morning pickup to the airport and found them friendly, very helpful, and most importantly in my opinion, the driver arrived early (I'm always early for everything so I appreciate this quality in a transportation company). Nooga Taxi is the best! We reserved a ride from Chattanooga Airport to my daughter's home in Ootelwah. Our flight was delayed, delayed again, and we finally landed in Chattanooga about 2:30 am. Our driver kept track of our flight throughout the night. When we finally walked off the airplane, our driver was waiting at the bottom of the escalator with our names on a sign!
