A Child's Journey has been so incredible! My son and daughter immediately felt right at home and have been nurtured in every stage of their development. All day top notch childcare with a curriculum and freshly prepared meals provided. I know that everything is taken care of and children are safe and happy and well cared for. Before age two they have showed me sign language they learned from their incredible teachers who feel like an extension of our family. My son is well above grade level after he has graduated from their pre-k. We've really had a great experience here. Our son loves, not only his teacher, but the office staff and chef too. He's made so many friends and is very excited to go to school in the morning. The facility has always been very clean and the staff is easily available to address any needs we have. They are more than willing to accommodate his food sensitivities and really listened to understand our son as an individual. I can't say enough good things about his teacher, Ms. Julie. She truly is a rare gem and has been an invaluable gift to our son. She knows every child uniquely and cares about each of them. She does an incredible job encouraging the children to learn and explore while setting boundaries. We're so delighted to see how much he's grown and know that much of it is a direct result of Ms. Juile's unrelenting effort and dedication to her class. My daughter started ACJMS when she was 7 months old in the infant room (up to 1 year). At 1 year, she moved into the 12m-18m classroom. She wore a helmet for cranial therapy and has a peanut and dairy allergy. The teachers and staff have cared for my daughter and provide continual updates through their app where we can communicate throughout the day. They're always a phone call away if ever needed. I don't know how they remember every child's name but it's welcoming to drive up to pick up my daughter and they are already grabbing her from the classroom. Xyla has been happy at the school and is able to interact with the other kids. They're covid protocols are fair and we thankfully haven't had any cases as the school. read more

Absolutely a money driven school. No moral there. Be very careful to deal with that owner and a few staffs on the front desk, their goal is collecting your tuition only, they DON'T care about your kids and their parents! True story, since they ONLY pull money out of the parents' bank accounts, I had to call my bank three times to make sure my bank has permanently blocked their ACH. Our daughter has attended for the last two years. She receives individual attention and any call to come retrieve has been under well reasonable reasons (fever, vomiting, etc). The education and social skills experience has been a boon to her overall learning experience. Any communication problems have been easily cleared up by either ensuring both parents are in sync or having a sit down with the teacher/admin in question. I am one of those that drop off consistently between 8:45 and 9:15 as I let our child sleep as long as she needs these first years of her life. Each class has a wonderful structure and maintains a good child to teacher ratio. At times someone calls in or there are circumstances out of control. It's important to understand these individuals make our children laugh and help them learn every day. Parent teacher nights are super informative, go to them! read more

We absolutely love ACJMS! Our 3.5 and 1 year old have been going for over a year and I cannot say enough positives things about the school and the teachers. Everyday I can see what the kids are up to and what they are working on in class through an app. But also the kids come home and talk about what they learned because of how much fun they are having. The teachers is hands down the most loving and caring people around. They genuinely care about your child and what is best for them. They will come to you and talk about things that are going on and how to partner together to improve things. Again, I could rave about the school all day! When we started our six-month-old son on his two-month journey at ACJS we loved the infant room initially. We initially found that the staff was responsive and caring to all of the kids. His second month at the school brought more children to the infant room and they were at capacity. The school decided to start kicking him out regularly because of his poop. We took our son to 3 doctors who all said that he is fine and was not suffering from an infection. They cleared him for readmission to the school and gave us a note which directed the school to make reasonable accommodation for his minor digestive disability. My wife and I attempted to request the reasonable accommodation both in person and in writing and the director of the school refused our request and would not deviate from her illness policy. After that we decided that it would be best if he stopped attending the school and we flew my mother in law into town to take care of him. I started looking for another caregiver at that time. I should emphasize that finding a new caregiver with an infant needing immediate enrollment is EXTREMELY difficult as you do not have the option of getting on a waiting list. Nevertheless, I was persistent and I ended up lucking out finding a fantastic in-home daycare. The teacher/owner is much more responsive to his needs and is willing to customize his care as necessary. The ages range of the other children has been great! Our son loves the attention he gets from the other kids who are all so sweet and love him so much. Every time I pick him up he is smiling and giggling and all the other kids are having a blast. The ACJS experience was extremely stressful and distressing for my wife who ACJS had convinced that my son was sick. It also was extremely difficult on both of us professionally, especially my wife as we were constantly having to take off work because of him getting kicked out and having to take him to wasted Dr. Appointments. Ironically, it turns out that his digestive issues went away as soon as he left ACJS. read more

I waited a year to write this review, just to be sure... we were first time parents, and we found A Childs Journey, it sounded promising, but after 3 years and something like 8 different teachers, poor communication and a slew of other issues, we realized that this was a mistake. Fortunately we found another school ( which is amazing ). I am not going to go into every detail (even though there is a lot to say). Would not recommend this school as a safe place for your child. I have 3 children. My main reason for avoiding this school; I was told that "marijuana vaping breaks" are allowed. Whah? They then, proceed to "care" for the children under the influence. Again, whah? Even if this is a rumor - there are far too many good schools in our beautiful area to waste money on that kind of risk. No thank you. Likely why they don't answer the phone - they're all outside either smoking or vaping marijuana. Drug tests should be mandatory at childcare centers and it's ridiculous that there are no back ground checks or follow through with the TB testing of employees that is required by law. Very irresponsible. Children could be at risk for TB because this owner is obviously flippant among other things. I only added a star because they finally answered the phone. read more

I looked for months for the right school for my 3 year old. We have moved around a good bit and I wanted to find the right fit for him that would ease his transition. WE LOVE THIS SCHOOL. Linda and the teachers have been so amazing. So communicative and supportive. They serve lunch breakfast and snacks with an in-house chef. For starters, this place is a complete joke! Linda has no idea what she is doing as a director or as a business owner. The staff turnover rate there is ridiculous and once you get a good teacher they either move your child to a different room or the teacher quits because of the conditions. The toys are all old and not age appropriate, it's like she gets them used. You would think with all the money we pay in for our children's care it would go towards something useful but no it gets sucked away by Linda with her home renovations and purchasing new homes. They do not care about our children or the families that are associated with ACJS. I have even overheard the front staff talking badly about other families. My pre-K daughter had a difficult transition starting here, but all of the children and teachers were so patient and kind with her. The children were all well-adjusted and happy (except mine.) The staff and teachers here have been so supportive, even as we decided due to personal circumstances to stop attending here. I never felt like they were just out for my money, but that they really cared for the well-being of each child. The classrooms are open, clean, and inviting. Secure facilities with locked door and check in and out. I would definitely consider sending another child of mine there. read more

My two children attended ACJMS for two years. The teachers at ACJMS are all caring, nurturing and excited to be with their students each day. Every teacher goes the extra mile to ensure their students arrive to a prepared and welcoming environment. The teachers are knowledgeable on early childhood development and do their best to guide and prepare children for the next classroom. If you are lucky enough to snag a spot, the mixed-age Montessori classrooms are all taught by AMS certified teachers who have multiple years of teaching experience. These classrooms prepare children for Kindergarten though hands-on-learning at the students own pace. Rest easy knowing your children will be well taken care of if you choose ACJMS. read more

Our daughter has been to this school for 2 years. She loves the teachers very much as they are all very nice to her. Linda, the director, knows every kid very well and always talk to us the parents whenever she sees us to make sure our questions are answered in a timely manner and keep the communication transparent. The school uses organic, fresh and seasonal ingredients to prepare meals. The classrooms are big and bright. Tuition fee is very reasonable (a little cheaper than same schools in the area but the service and teacher quality is great). As many other places tend to have high teacher turn-over ratio, this place does a good job keeping the good teachers. The kids benefit a lot from building trust and relationship with the same teachers in one classroom. Overall, teachers are great, food is fresh and organic, classrooms are big and bright, tuition fee is reasonable. We would recommend this school to our family and friends! read more

Our twin boys started going to the school when they turned two and have now attended ACJS for a year and a half. We only spoke swedish to them at home so when they started they knew very little English. After just a few days they were totally fine with us leaving them there. The other day I came to pick them up and Miss Tiffan (one of their teachers) asked me what "älskar dej" means. I said it means love you in swedish. Apparently she had used the words to comfort one of my boys that day. I asked her how she knew what to say and her reply was that she had heard me say it. My heart melted due to the fact that she was able to comfort my boy with words she overheard me say to him and his brother. Our boys have over the years attended 4 of the 8 classrooms at ACJS and everyone of the teachers have been amazing! read more

Linda wants your MONEY!! So many problems with this place. There are great teachers, but the turn over is high! Some of the classrooms appear to have been an afterthought, with no windows. There are things left broken or in need of repair for way too long. She claims the meals are all organic, but my children are eating crackers or cereal everyday I pick them up, and even most mornings when I drop off. The teachers are stressed out by the end of the day, as some of them by then are combined together with other classes or they are beyond their ratios. I really don't want to spend much more time on this negative experience, but for the sake of sparing some poor family like mine, I will this last time. Basically, the current owner is an insensitive name I cant say. And I can't comprehend how she has any successful higher education expertise or credentials in relationship/counseling or psychology. She only looks at your child and family as a dollar sign. From our first week, there were signs that she and certain staff didn't treat their employees' right. Which was actually confirmed by one classroom caregiver that I ran into who had quit soon after this woman took ownership. Then, again towards the end of our time at the school it was mentioned again by another classroom caregiver that there were concerns with employee treatment and under-staffing for the amount of children they had in their care. Also, this new owner seemed to be too focused on many external superficial things such as social media stalking & commenting on specific individuals and their physical appearances. I overheard some questionable comments a couple of times. There was weird tension in the air from the beginning that I fluffed off & overlooked. I never felt like my son had any individual attention. Very little communication and updates even though it was offered. But mainly, my child had health problems since he began there, all starting from several sicknesses he picked up on the first day, which is to be expected when being introduced to a daycare environment, HOWEVER, since he had one illness after another, and I mean one right after another....including but not limited to a severe, highly contagious case of hand, foot & mouth disease........ I would expect a little understanding and care from the director/owner of my son's childcare center. There is a 10:30am cut off drop off time. Which was introduced to me on the first day as "by suggestion, we would like your child to be here by 10:30 so that they don't miss the circle time and curriculum structured for the children" Okay, got it. Perfect and understood. I want that too. Boy, I must have been wrong to assume that extenuating health circumstances would be tolerated. So, one day after long night and problems with his health, we didn't call and were late. Boy did I get the evil eye and warning when we got to school around 1pm. I apologized and explained that I will call next time we will be late. It had really been the last thing on my mind with little sleep and stress missing work and caring for an ill child. Weeks go by and I need to call to tell the school my son will be in later in the morning, 11am, because we had another long night in the ER with high fever and 4th ear infection and he's sleeping in late. The school tells me in that phone call that I will have to speak to and "ask the owner". Ummm, okay? So, I call her to explain the circumstances... Before I can even get a word out, this woman has the nerve to tell me I seem to be a "problem" and out of all the 100 kids at the school, I'm 1 of 2 who can't seem to get it together. Proceeding to tell me that there is a waiting list and if I can't get my kid to daycare on time, "It's not a good fit". These are quotes, by the way. Can you believe that? I could not! I was shocked. And could not believe that she spoke to me in such an aggressive manner. Very cold and stern as if I had broken the law and would be punished. This is before I even explained why he was going to be late. Not one time did she ask how my son was or offer any help to figure out how we can get to school "on time". This was essentially the first time I spoke to her about his health problems, or at least was going to try to. After this incredibly rude verbiage by her I had no choice but to agree, yes, it is NOT a good fit. We will leave your school. I mean, how can I continue to bring my child there and participate with people who clearly only care about the "bottom line" and don't give a care about seeing how they might be able to help with any "problems" that might arise with a family at their daycare center? #1, I had no idea this was such a strict rule (as there was little communication) to be inexcusably late for daycare. Give me a break! It's daycare. Kids get sick, their days are not perfectly in sync like we would wish them to be. And, kids come and go in daycare. #2, I would think that the director/owner of the school would want to work with the family and discuss what we might be able to do to help get my son better and make things easier for our family since we were such a "problem" for them. #3, I was completely floored by this attitude, from the owner, no less. I thought they were in the business of "caring" for people. Not persecuting them for being late, ONE TIME to your school and threatening them with a waiting list of kids who will take their place. DUCKLING ROOM (Age 1-2 years): Zero educational curriculum. Hardly any routine or structure. No respect for parental food preferences ie, not wanting your child to have a certain kind of food/snack due to preference even when providing food/snack from home. Binkie overuse. Witnessed several binkies being put in teacher pants pocket from different kids, touching each other and given back to children without cleaning or having a separate clean and sanitary space to store each. Witnessed same Kleenex used to clean nose of a few different kids. Not throwing away and grabbing a different one. Teachers aren't teaching...they are just supervising/baby"sitting". Desperately needs new books (ripped apart) and toys (broken/dead batteries). No structured teaching or games. Questionable employee hires/fires. Poor tadpole daily report usage, little to none. Overuse of giving crackers to kids (ritz, gold fish, saltines, Chex- with no nutritional value), given on playground, no formal or structured snack time. Just handing them out as if the kids are pigeons. No proper redirection. Not nurturing. Varied assistant teachers from week to week, no continuity of care. Do your homework and choose wisely. If your child is precious to you, this is not the child care center for you. My 3-year old son attended for 3 days (at a non-refundable cost of $1,987.50!). The first day we picked him up from school we saw that his lips were blue from the cold. He had been outdoors for too long with his socks and shoes soaked from the rain. The next two day he clung to mom so hard at drop off that we had to bring him back home. We bribed him to attend the next two days, rewarding him with a toy upon return. In those two days we found out that his classroom did not go outside to play, not even once, and instead they were shown Blippi videos (funny the things you find out when kiddos start talking!). This center is in the business of making money, not taking care of little ones. The teacher did not ask his name until day 3. And the owner is like a car sales person who boasts about all the families waiting to enroll when you first inquire about availability, and then at the time to cancel enrollment she changes her tune to 'there's no other kid to take your spot'. We fell for itbecause we were desperate for care, don't make the same mistake we did. read more

We had a wonderful experience sending our daughter part time to A Child's Journey School. She started when she was 11 months old and was there for about six months. We decided to pull her out because of schedule changes at our jobs. During the time that she was there we found the teachers and staff to be very caring, helpful and friendly. Everyone knew our daughter's name not only her teachers and they could give us an update on her day. They really cared about her well-being. They also have a great cook on-site and we really liked that because our daughter was eating healthy and "home-made" food. We loved having her there and in the future when she is ready to go back we are happy to know that this place is available. It is not easy finding a place where you feel comfortable and safe leaving your kids but we did at A Child's Journey School. read more

Not only did we love the fact that ACJS could take both our baby and preschooler, we loved the Montessori education our children received. All the "works" my older one did helped helped prepare her for kindergarten and I'm sure that my younger one will be prepared as well. My almost 23 month old son has been going to ACJS part time since he was 6 months old. The infant room is amazing. The teachers are wonderful and as a new mom, they were a great resource to help me establish a nice routine for my baby. I love that the infant room does not have swings and bouncers to "immobilize your child like most infant rooms at other daycares do. Your baby is free to move around and explore the environment at free will! In the next class up, my son started learning sign language and developing his words and gross motor skills. About 4 months ago he transitioned to the next toddler class up. His verbal language and fine motor skills have really taken off. Lately, when I come pick him up he screams and hollers that he wants to stay and play! All his teachers have been so great and caring with our son. The rest of the staff are super friendly too and always make the time/effort to acknowledge my son as we come and go which I know makes him feel special. The owner is very easy to communicate with and very reasonable. My son only goes 3 days a week, however there have been a couple times I've needed just a couple hours of child care on days we aren't signed up to attend and she has been very accommodating to us and allowed me to drop my son off during those times!! Recently though, given the age group my son is in right now, we have had numerous incidents with my son being bitten (one which was not reported to me by the school and I had to learn about it by finding the teeth marks that night during bath time). I know he had to be crying as the teeth marks lasted for 5 days and our doctor even asked about it 3 days after the incident. That made me sad for my son as he likely was not comforted at all by anyone since there was no incident report written up. The director/owner did address the matter and said she did some more training with her staff. However my son has continued to be bitten. That's really my biggest concern and reason for only 3 stars. Also, the fact that kids are constantly being fed ritz, fish crackers, saltines, Cheerios, pirates booty. You can't really call your menu and food program "organic" when the kids are getting these non organic snacks with no nutritional value served to them first thing in the morning at drop off and the whole afternoon until parents come pick up. I make a point to bring healthier snack options for my son to be offered. The problem is they have so many extra staff that rotate and help out in the rooms that they all don't know about these snacks I bring so I know he's still being fed the processed crap! These two things are why I've knocked a couple stars off. read more

Our son has attended A Child's Journey School since he was 18 months old. He is now 4 years old. He has been at this school for so long because we, as first time parents, just didn't know any better. I wish we had moved him to another school a LONG time ago. Here is our story: Our son's first experience at this school was in a classroom with a teacher/ care giver that made it clear from the beginning that she didn't care much for our son, or for any child for that matter. I have no idea why she is in the child care industry. My experience with her is that she is grumpy and short-tempered with our son, as well as with other children. Our son didn't stay in that class very long, as he was moved to another class with a different teacher/ care giver who was fantastic, and is by far the best teacher/ caregiver we have had at this school. He still talks fondly of her. He didn't stay here very long, and was moved to a different class with a different teacher/ care giver. She was also very good with our son, and it seemed that, despite the many classroom moves in his time at a Child's Journey, he was settling into a routine. At this time, I started noticing the high turn over rate with the school employees. Namely, with the afternoon staff. I honestly couldn't keep track of the front desk staff, as I was seeing a new face at that position seemingly every week. One office manager, when meeting with my Mother a year or so ago, said she had just gotten back from vacation and didn't want to be around all these kids. I get it. I couldn't do that job, either. But please don't vent with parents, or grandparents. That's what private staff meetings are for. Also of note are the number of children, presumably children of the staff, that are handling the children, even the infants. I did not feel comfortable bringing my newborn daughter to the school when picking up our son, as I didn't want to explain to the staff why I didn't want a 12-year-old (who I didn't know) holding my newborn daughter. I kept putting off my baby daughter's enrollment in the school, because there was NO WAY I was enrolling her in the class that our son started in. Thankfully, the grandparents stepped in to help out as I went back to work full time. Moving on. Our son was moved AGAIN to another class when he turned 2 1/2. One of the teachers/ caregivers in this class complained to us that our son asked for seconds at breakfast and at lunch. To me, his Mom, this was fantastic news! Our son has never been a big eater, so I was pleased to hear that he was eating more at school. She kept complaining about the extra work to serve him more food, so I offered to pay more for the additional food. He had 2 teachers/ caregivers in this class before moving on to his final class, where he is at now. He has had THREE different teachers/ care givers in this current class. That is 8 different teachers/ care givers in 2 1/2 years. I have seen 1 teacher in this classroom with 15 - 20 children. I can't even imagine that level of chaos. Outside of the classroom, things are even worse. The communication from staff to parents is virtually nonexistent, except by poorly written messages sent via an app called Tadpoles. Speaking of technology, we have signed our son in and out of school on paper, on a touch panel using a numeric code (the last 4 digits of our phone number), on a completely new system with a QR code reader (which I never used), and now, finally with another new system using a fingerprint scanner. There are no security cameras, and anyone can come and go freely, as everyone holds the door open. Small children will even open the door for you at afternoon pickup, as they are all crammed into the small front lobby area, crawling over each other waiting for their parents. In one recent event, another parent told me about how they found their child wandering around the hall way, UNATTENDED with the front door wide open. They picked their child up and left. No one at the school called to make sure their child made it home safely. On a positive note, the staff really does seem to care about their classrooms and their students. But the Owner keeps a tight rein on her staff. Admittedly, our son has been having some behavior challenges in the classroom, and at home. And as soon as his behavior was brought to our attention, his father and I acted on it immediately. He was quickly signed up for an evaluation by a licensed pediatric therapist, as well as an in-class assessment by an outside party. The assessment is that our son could benefit from a smaller class size, and that Montessori might not be the best fit for him. The in-class assessor agreed that we should move our son out of A Child's Journey School. Our son has been at another school for the past 3 weeks, and I can't even begin to list the positive impact this new school has had on our son. We get photos and updates on his day, every day, all day long. I'm still over the moon on how well he is doing! read more

My oldest son went here from 2.5 yrs to 5 and just graduated to Kindergarten. He loved his teachers and so did we. He still goes back to visit his teacher and talk to them and he is always invited with a high five or a hug. I genuinely do feel that everyone working there loves kids and it is seen in how the kids react back. My second son goes here now and he had a rough couple of weeks to start but runs in to class everyday now. read more

As far as I'm concerned, ACJS is about as good as daycares come. Almost all the staff I've met are very nice and seem to truly love working with children. The care there is wonderful, and I don't worry about my young toddler after I drop her off because the staff are so good with her (even though she still has separation anxiety and is new to daycare). Additionally, I love that they teach the Montessori method, and they have a personal chef that serves organic, healthy food. They even have an onsite organic garden with chickens--talk about awesome! As far as the facility itself is concerned, it is in a convenient location and not directly on any busy streets. Parking is ample, the playground is large, fully fenced, and is going to be updated soon, and the center itself has an inviting, fun, and artsy feeling to it. The decor and artwork are definitely geared towards the kids. It's a lot less sterile and institutionalized feeling than some large daycares, such as Bright Horizons. Additionally, the classrooms are large enough to comfortably accommodate naps and meals, which means if your child arrives shortly after breakfast is served, they're still able to eat because the kids aren't eating in shifts in a communal cafeteria like some of the smaller daycares (this was a huge plus for us). Finally, the price is reasonable. What more could you want? read more

My son has been going to A Child's Journey school since 6mo old. He started out in the Sunflowers room and is currently in the Ducklings room. We all just love Ms Pota and Ms Tina, they are so sweet and I always get good feedback from them on how he's doing. When I first started looking for daycare it was difficult, a lot were full and others required full time or were extremely expensive. I looked hard at several Montessori schools. When I walked into the infant room at A Child's Journey I breathed a sigh of relief. It felt so relaxing, low lights and no "prison cribs". The teachers there were so great with the babies and I felt comfortable leaving him there. Linda is doing a great job so far and we are happy with everything he's learning. The rates are super reasonable and it's been so nice to have flexible days. read more

We've had a great experience at this school. We were nervous about daycare, but our son loves the teachers, playground, daily art projects, "his friends" (we love that they teach the kids to call the other students "friends"!). We've been delighted by how much he's learned about animals, colors, numbers, letters, days of the week, etc. He's always singing a new song he's learned at school. We love that unlike our previous nannies and other schools, they are committed to getting toddlers outside to play 2x/day even in non-ideal weather. They've also really helped get us started with potty training. They helped get him over his fears of the potty, and that provided the momentum to continue potty training at home. read more

This is our first time using all-day daycare. We were amazed by how much our toddler loves it. He looks forward to going, always seems happy there and even NAPS for two hours (something he doesn't do at home!) The teachers in the duckling room are lovable and caring with our kiddo and we are grateful for their attention. I appreciate the Montessori approach and the large outdoor area. We had our daughter here for 2 years. She loved it. I can tell that the teachers and the director have a passion for children and it shows. We are sad to go but it's time for Kindergarten! I would highly recommend this school to those who are in need of childcare in the area. read more

I love this place. They have parents night out ones a month. Me and my husbancan go out for couple of hours. I also love my son teachers they really nice. Miss, Janna and Miss, Linda are always theire when i need help or have a question about my son. They made me feel welcome and it feels like family. read more

My son has been attending A Child's Journey for a year and we could not be happier with his preschool. We looked at many places and when we found this one from my next door neighbor's recommendation. My son was immediately comfortable with the owner Linda who is outstanding his teachers who are so loving and who always communicate with us about his daily activities. It was such a smooth transition from being full time with my son to full time working. They have fresh, healthy and yummy meals cooked onsite. I like the way the school is structured and the outdoor play area. It is a perfect balance of "home-ey" environment with still having school vibes. My two kids started here at 6 months. They're 2 and 4 now. The main reason we love ACJS is because of the teachers -- they take really good care of our kids and shower them with love as if they were family. All of the teachers from all of the classes know both of my kid's and say hi and bye to them on our way in and out everyday. The teachers also have a really good turnover; over the last two years, their teachers did not change (except of course when they had to move up classes). I look forward to keeping my kids in ACJS till they need to go to school. read more

We have had a positive experience at this school. All of the teachers/staff have been absolutely wonderful, and seem to love my daughter which makes me very happy when I leave her at school each day. The owner, Miss Linda, has an active presence at the school and has shown commitment to improving the school and the curriculum. I was a staff member at A Child's Journey school for 4 years and I've got to say those 4 years has been the toughest but the greatest! Working at A child's Journey school was one of my very first job and I loved it I grew so much and learned so much! The staff there is fantastic and environment is awesome as well! My two daughters have been attending A Childs Journey School since they were just toddlers, they are five and three, my three-year-old has been there since right around the time she started walking. Their experience there and my experience there as a parent has been so positive. My daughters have been treated with respect and have been taught how to treat others with respect. The Montessori program that the school provides has been amazing and the girls have excelled socially and mentally. I cannot imagine where they would be developmentally if it were not for this school, I know I couldn't get them this far if they would have stayed home with me. They have skills that they will be able to use for the rest of their education and for the rest of their lives. I am so grateful that we have access to this type of education in our community. We are leaving Kirkland and leaving A Childs Journey School which just breaks my heart, the girls grew up there and we will miss our friends, the school and the wonderful staff and teachers! I have always felt safe dropping my kids off at school, knowing that they were receiving love and care and a great education, you can't put a price on that.
