Total scam! I bought the starter package for my Mom as a Christmas gift and was assured that I could return the device and receive a full refund within 30 days. This was a main selling point since it was a gift. Then when I went to return it, the owner claims that he has no such policy and would only exchange unopened items if interested. September 2018. I loved smoking cigarettes. It was really too bad that they were sickening me. And I was the very last person to demand that they had to go. At first, quitting efforts ranged from hard to impossible. Ann Arbors' A CLEAN CIGARETTE was the game changer. They're in the Trader Joe's complex. It was during a chance food shopping trip when I found them. Tobacco-free for 3.5 years now!!! AA's ACC's management and staff - a small but very friendly group - spent time with me (a lot of time). It was kinda like an eye exam: "Try this one." "Now, try this flavor" "Is 'B' better or worse than 'A'"? They wanted to get it right. They answered all my questions clearly and smartly and their answers matched what I later dug up on the internet. They have been great ever since. Now we chat and talk about our lives and the world across the counter for a few minutes each visit. They know me - and my order without asking. The product itself is wonderful. Tasty choices. Adjustable dosing - I think ranges from 36 mg down to 0 mg nicotine. I started at the highest dose and now down to the second-to-lowest. Easy and clean (clean, both for my lungs and for my home and car). I've a favorite flavor now ("natural," can u believe that?), but try others every so often. Advise: If you do change to this product... At some point you will want to buy an extra battery or two and maybe a second battery charger. A clean cigarette may have saved my life. I was a long time chain smoker. I had tried anything and everything to help me quit, but to no avail. I'm posting this review after reading the negative review about the Ann Arbor store. If the person writing the review was writing about the current management of the Ann Arbor store, they haven't had a decent bowel movement for years. If they were writing about the previous management, they are one third right. I refused to come to Ann Arbor because of the previous management. I drove to Lansing instead. The people in Lansing told me about the management change in Ann Arbor and urged me to come and give them a chance. The current store is well run. They are friendly (there's a coffee maker there and if you want, have a cup of coffee and ask any questions about the product that you may have), well versed in the product, and very helpful. The product is the best I can find on the market. As far as the no return policy, read the signs in the store. I have used this product for over five years and it's been a lifesaver for me. I was a heavy cigarette smoker for years. I started smoking in 1968 when smoking was the only human privilege that you had in Marine Corps boot camp. I now have COPD from smoking. One of the men from my infantry squad in Viet Nam told me about ACC. I tried it and as the second review said, it's a life saver. I recommend ACC to anyone that is trying to quit smoking cigarettes. It doesn't bother my COPD and has allowed me to get myself back into fairly decent shape. My best friend died in January of this year. He was my cousin. We grew up together, joined the Marine Corps together, and served in Viet Nam at the same time. He was a health nut. He took great pains to keep himself in perfect shape. Unfortunately, he spent over a year (in Viet Nam) in an area that had been cleared with Agent Orange. He developed stomach cancer because of Agent Orange and died. After John died, I decided that it was time for me to start taking care of myself (I also have type 2 diabetes). I went on a low carb diet and started walking on a treadmill. After four months, I've dropped forty pounds and can walk for miles (up to 18 in a day). I never could have done the walking as a smoker. As far as I'm concerned, ACC has given me a chance for a better life. I hope that this review helps someone that is interested in getting away from cigarettes and gaining a more healthy life.
