Service was great. The menu is short but more than enough to satisfy. We enjoyed a round of delicious limoncello spritzes and pasta. A couple of us had the fresh pasta terra mia aka ravioli (wow oh wow) and another had the spaghetti with clams (another big wow here). Even the view from the bathroom was pretty epic! I cannot imagine visiting Capri without dining here. If I am lucky enough to return someday, this will be the first meal that I book!

The bar is the only portion that's part of the cave and truly, many places along Praiano and neighboring areas r built into the cliff so it's not all that special. Unless you're arriving via water taxi, the walk to this place is a lot so wear shoes that u love to hike in-lol. We paid an additional 15Euro/pp to have VIP seating right along the water. Not worth it. U could easily sit on the patio and have equal views and experience. One of the nice things about Europe is often that they don't rush u as much as US restaurants. Not here. They were ready to grab r order immediately and when we asked to start with a drink and appetizer then order in a bit, they told us they had to put in r complete order at 1 time. Seems odd since they were able to add drinks as needed, but whatevs. The linguini with anchovy (it was more of an essence) was amazing! Would totally recommend it and we don't even like anchovies. However, everything else was meh to bad. The lamb ribs were a pile of fat and not good. The filet was really overcooked so rough to eat. The tagliatelle with ragu had almost no meat in it. Probably spent $100usd pp without alcohol and would definitely not recommend for dinner. *Tip - if you're walking back up that huge hill after drinks/dinner, stop off at the hotel just above Il Pirate and have a cocktail or dessert there. They have an elevator that will take u up to the top street that u can use if you're either a guest or dining there. I promise u it's worth the $ for the ride.

We also did the hotel massages (no couples, 1 at a 1 time) private room. Around $90 each plus tip. 3 out of 5 stars. Acceptable. Walking distance into town (about 10 min down hill) pharmacy, hospital and variety of eating and shopping spots. Convenient and nearby. Scenery? BEAUTIFUL. just beautiful. Not gonna try and describe. Just check out photos. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were spacious and veranda views from the room was awesome. Water pressure in shower was lacking, there is an old european smell sometimes (thus opening the veranda door was nice) Wifi was good, small fridge and coffee supplies available. Not a 5 star, maybe 4.25 stars....

We called the restaurant to order our shuttle and were picked up in AnaCapri center. It was only about a 8-10 minute ride uphill. We arrived at Sunset and the view was spectacular! There was a pool deck overlooking the hill and it was just really nice. The walk to the restaurant was lined with florals and it screamed Italian island countryside. I was in heaven. Inside the restaurant was bustling with patrons and we were sat for our reservation immediately. The staff was friendly and accommodating despite how busy it was. We ordered quite a few appetizers and entrees. I decided to keep it light and ordered the swordfish and a salad. But was able to try bites from everyone else's plates as well.
