Even were willing to provide some positive reviews of the Honda dealership, since I had asked about them. That's a good sign for a mechanic to be willing to recommend alternatives. Eventually we did get them to do the work, and we did it all remotely (since we were then home, not in Bismark any longer). They were quick, and extremely helpful. They delviered on time, and alerted me to some other issues that they suggested I get fixed before long (without asking to do the work). All things considered, I'd definitely go back to Maas if I was looking for a mechanic in Bismark.

What really got me is when the owner's daughter ( the receptionist) called and told me to get my truck off their lot today. I went in paid the remaining balance only to find out it was an incomplete repair. The technician that worked on my truck was no longer worked there and the owner stated that it was in great working condition. After inspecting my truck I was not able to get it into 4 wheel drive, the gear selector was not working and antifreeze was all over the radiator not sure it was leaking or sloppy work. I went on a road trip. A looooong road trip. I calculated an estimated 8,300 miles. After it was…read moreover I learned from my odometer it was 9,801 miles. In the initial planning stages, I knew based on the mileage on my 2022 Subaru that I'd need an oil change somewhere around North Dakota or Montana. I looked up Subaru dealerships along Interstate-90 in those states. I decided on Kramer Subaru based on nothing but the mileage on my odometer and the distance I calculated traveled during my road trip. While spending the night in a motel in Fargo, ND, I called Kramer Subaru and verified that I could pop in for an oil change the next day. The person who answered said it would be best to make an appointment, but I told them I couldn't because I didn't know what time I'd be arriving. The next morning I drove through freezing rain on the interstate for hours, a few times having to slow down to 35 mpg just to keep from spinning out on the ice on the road. When I arrived at Kramer Subaru my car was covered in ice. I told them a bit of my story. Road trip to Seattle (to start with) and that I'd just driven in from Fargo. They seemed a bit perplexed, and the service employee who helped me (Michael) said they were supposed to have an insurance specialist drive in from Fargo that morning, but he called and said he couldn't make it because the roads were too icy. I wanted to ask if he was not driving a Subaru, but I refrained. Kramer Subaru was amazing. Their service was super-quick for a pop in, and they were exceptionally helpful, even looking up the weather westward for me and giving me tips for driving into Montana. The price for the oil change was less than what I used to pay for oil changes on my old VW Passat 4-Motion. If I'm ever in Mandan, ND again, I'd go back to Kramer Subaru for sure...but since I never will be, I can at least leave this review in gratitude for a great experience.

My daughter was traveling across the country when her car broke down in the Dakotas. It was a mess. The head gasket went, and the engine was damaged. Due to the warranty my daughter went ahead with the repairs, but it was a waiting game because of the extent, and my daughter had to be at a job in Wyoming. The manager Brad Williams, and his crew helped my daughter, and me every step of the way. Calls were returned promptly. Clear communication was given. I just can't thank Brad, and his staff enough for helping my daughter out of a very tough jam that could have been made worse, but instead went as smoothly as possible thanks to this exceptional staff.
