Then they added a proof of insurance requirement that I complied with. Within a couple months they DOUBLED the storage rate and added $15 for insurance even though I had complied. When I moved out they required 59 days notice in order to charge for an additional month. My registered letter of move-out notice came back undeliverable. When I finally reached them via email they required a PHOTO of the empty spot. I had to drive 70 miles round trip to provide the photo I've enclosed.

Full time travel to and thru the states that I return to require storage as I'm not pulling a trailer as drag coefficient really bums me out, light and fast is how I roll and wish to continue to travel. What are your important needs and lifestyle requirements? Tax, healthcare, guns, weed, work, schooling - there's a lot to consider no matter your domicile but ya still need storage. Extrinsic and intrinsic values aren't on my doomer spreadsheet, I'm not an owner nor investor in storage, merely a renter to keep state necessary needs. And in Florida my needs are mainly golf related items and microfiber materials, I think I'll buy some land here, and I still might require storage. They find all kinds of creative ways to charge you additional fees. Your personal insurance hits its renewal date? Rather than call you or text/ email you to let you know you need to update your proof of insurance, they'll charge you a fee. They'll never even let you know they are charging you, you just see a higher charge on your credit card that month. Did your credit card on file expire? They'll let you know--AFTER you hit the date for a late fee to kick in. Any time any of this happens, they'll put another lock over yours and, you guessed it, charge you for it! You end up paying more than double what your quoted rate is. Need to speak to customer service? NOPE. They will only give you an email address (maybe). I have asked for contact to customer service many times. Have only received the email address (never a phone number) after many requests.
