Compared to a previous livescan I got for school, this was a lot speedier and welcoming. Although this location can be hard to find, the owner (Via) is kind and friendly and an expert at getting your fingerprints to read correctly the first time. She has skillz! The first time I had to get a LiveScan for hiring forms, I went somewhere else, and the guy took over half an hour to get my fingerprints. Via had mine done within 5-10 minutes, mostly because she asked me how I was doing and was being friendly. Conducting LiveScan is only part of her business. In the narrow, but surprisingly spacious office space, Via also sells a product line to promote health and well-being. In the South Bay, I think this location may charge the cheapest rates for LiveScan services. The agency I was applying for had an account on file for LiveScans, so my charge was only $17, vs. $25+ at some other places. If you're paying the whole fee out-of-pocket, it'll be a lot more, but you can call and ask for the exact rates. Directions (since I got lost when I went there and had to call): Heading north on Vermont Ave. towards Carson St., turn right into the shopping center with the blue-tiled roofs. You'll see a signboard for 21732 Vermont Ave., right next to the Cuban Cafe and Bakery on the corner as you turn in. Head towards the back of that parking lot, but don't cross over into the other adjacent parking lot. On the right row of two-story buildings, at the very back of the shopping center, there is a banner for LiveScan, with the number for A Fingerprints, hanging on the railing of the 2nd floor. Head upstairs and towards the back, and you'll see A Fingerprints. *Oh, if you're going for a LiveScan, bring at least 3 copies of the paperwork. This lady was great! I really needed to get my fingerprints taken, and this was one of the few places that was open late, she was super accommodating, and very friendly. Usually fingerprinting places, the people look like they're bored or you have to wait a long time, well this was quick and the lady was really nice to me. It's alittle tricky finding the place so I would call and ask how to get there, but would deinately recommend you go to this place if you need ur fingerprints taken.
