I happen to find it thru yelp and although it only had one previous review it was close to home and no appointment was necessary so I called and rushed over. The owner was very friendly and extremely helpful. She looked over my paper work and made sure I knew what i had to do. The fingerprinting was quickly and everything looked great. The best part was the cost! half of what El Camino Police department was asking for and def cheaper than similar competitive. I really cannot say enough good things about A Fingerprints and Ms. Via!! I tried her shop because of a review I saw online at Google, And I must say I am very satisfied! Her place great!! How could I not give this wonderful lady 5 stars?! First off, I'm basing my review solely on her fingerprinting service, though I'm aware that she does other services as well. Via is so adorably awesome. She greets you before you're even within view. Via is very knowledgeable of her craft and she works quickly, but never making you feel rushed. She even stands over you as you fill out your fingerprint card, yet it doesn't feel like she's hovering. Anyway, I was in and out in about 30min, which consisted of her doing my fingerprints twice since my employer requires 2 cards to be filled out...she cut me a deal at $35 for both cards too! Oh, and her mini hand massage was fabulous. Ps. She has nothing but LOVE for Yelpers. She says half her business comes from Yelp and that she is grateful for everyone who spreads the word. There was only one person before me and I did not have to wait too long (about three minutes). *Fees: For initial CPA licensing, it is: FBI/DOJ Fee $49 + Rolling Fee $16 = $65 (Cheapest in LA area) - Cash If you call, she will say $66 Cash $67 Credit card. This is because the rolling fee has been recently increased to $17 (Per DOJ website, it is sill $16). *Prompt & Fast Service: I was done in about 15 minutes. If you need a receipt, be sure to ask for a receipt. - She will provide you one. *Helpfulness: She has a very sweet personality - She gave me an apple and three tangerines for free. She is ready to answer any questions that you have. *Parking: Free parking in a strip mall. This was the greatest experience I had for live scan fingerprinting. These are tough time and I recently needed a finger print scan for my current job. After weeks of searching only to find many businesses closed due to covid-19 I stumbled upon "A FINGERPRINTS". I called the business hoping this time someone will pick up and say "yes we are open" and long behold the lovely Via picked up and said she was. I called way before the business opened (sorry for waking you up lol). Upon arrival I was the very first customer before other customers started trickling in. Via was very friendly and the whole process only took 10 mins. I know everyone is afraid of going into businesses due to potentially being exposed to covid but to ease your mind Via is taking every precaution to insure the safety of her customers. Only one customer is allowed in at a time. She is using medical grade sanitizers wiping down everything before customers touch anything and especially after. All in all my experience was a great one and I would recommend giving via a visit if you need any of her services (support small businesses). read more

Got my finger prints and she was sooo cool we had a dope conversation haha talked about being business partners for the medical marijuana field and I was ohh damn she does that too haha I was comfortable to be with her. Lady that worked there said she couldn't do live scan on my sibling because her shoulder hurt. She kept complaining, note my sibling is in a wheelchair and has a hard time getting around, she complained his arm was too stiff so it was too hard for her to do the live scan and told us she wasn't going to do it. Got my fingerprints done by Via today and have to admit that the reviews are all correct, she is terrific. My appointment was supposed to be 1PM on a Sunday but I wanted it done ealier. We arranged for 11:00 AM instead but I underestimated the lack of traffic that day and arrived a little past 10:00 AM. I called Via, but she was apparently at home thinking I'd arrived at 11. Via rushed to her office and even texted me telling me she was on her way. This is all without mentioning that I don't even think she opens on a Sunday. She is a small minority/woman owned business and has adjusted to the COVID-19 crisis by maintaining a sterile environment. She had me wait outside to provide private service to the customer ahead of me. I appreciated the caution she took with each step of the process. When it was my turn, I entered the small office space and placed my purse and documents in a bin she provides, she accepted my ID then cleaned my hands to prep for the scan.
