I had the 1 hour foot massage and am in love with this amazing service. First, it's not "just a foot massage". You start by soaking your feet in a warm water basin while your masseuse leans you back in an easy chair and massages your scalp, temples, arms, neck & shoulders. Yep- all part of the foot massage!! Then they remove the water basin and massage your lower legs, feet, and toes into heavenly bliss. A few times she went too deep for me but i simply asked for softer and she immediately adjusted. As all of this is happening you're reclining in a comfy easy chair covered by a warm blanket. When she finished with my legs & feet, she escorted me into a private room where I laid face down, fully clothed, on a massage table. She then spent another 10 minutes massaging my neck, back and calves. So relaxing! She ends with this oddly relaxing, light punching up and down my back. The entire experience was just so much more than I was expecting for a "foot massage". At check out you can pay cash or credit but prices are discounted for cash. Also, with such low service prices they have a sign recommending a greater than avg percent for tip- $10-$15 is stated avg. I happily paid $10 for the foot massage tip (assuming the higher tip is for the full body massage). That means one hour massage with tip, all in, was only $38! A great deal for sure. read more

Took me a while to decide if I was going to write this review simply because I couldn't pinpoint how I really felt. After talking to my cop-friend who told me this place has been raided on multiple occasions for prostitution, I received a confirmation that something definitely wasn't right about this place as I suspected. This place was recommended by one of my clients who had a date night here with her husband. I made an appointment for a foot massage and was pleasantly surprised at first that it included full body as well for a low price, especially if paid in cash. Apparently if you come as a couple things go well, but if you're single (especially a lady)...forget about it! On several occasions I questioned some of my male masseuse's gestures. In a profession that requires excessive touching it's easy to overlook and think naaah they're just doing their job, but I left feeling disgusted instead of relaxed and that's a problem. Sure the price was low, but it certainly wasn't worth the violation. Maybe there's some who come here looking for that sort of action, but I'm not one of them. This place is great and they are affordable. As well as the staff that does the work really do an amazing job. HOWEVER, there is a reason why I only gave it 1 star. Like many of the other reviews there is a problem when it comes to tipping. My friend and I both received the same services and were going to give a 20% tip. That was an issue for the gentleman checking us out and he kept pushing for us to leave more money. He kept saying "they work hard" over and over and I understand that. That being said a customer should never feel pressure or judged because their tip isn't adequate for someone. It was embarrassing and unfair to be put in that situation. So again it's a nice place, but I'm already getting charged 2$ because I'm not using cash (its 2019 why is that an issue). They do a great job, but if the tip isn't at least 10$ on any service be prepared for the response. read more

I've been coming to A+ off and on for the last few years. I've moved out of state, but always make a point to come back when I'm in the area. Kevin at A+ is an out-of-this-world masseuse. I suffer from severe muscle tension in my upper back and calves and it's always a struggle to find a masseuse who can handle the amount of muscle tension I have. Most times I get a massage, the masseuse is just too precious with my muscles and I never find relief....even if I ask for a deep tissue massage! Not with Kevin. Kevin doesn't let my muscles get the best of him...he really gets in there and makes a huge difference! Kevin is a perfect fit for you if you're looking for deep tissue at a rapid, contiuous pace. It's really (really) intense, but he checks in with you a lot to and adjusts to your comfort lecek. Kevin always leaves me walking taller, much more flexible, and (I swear...) with clearer sinuses and vision. It's freaking magic. Go see him! read more

From the reviews, some people do not realize the employees work for tips. So a 20% tip on a 28 dollar massage is not sufficient. Their prices are dirt cheap so leave a decent tip of $15. My cousins and I called prior to coming and the lady on the phone was so rude. We wanted an appointment for 2:30 and she kept insisting to come earlier. This place was empty and had multiple staff available. Once we walked in and said hello we were IMMEDIATELY HUSHED. Again, it was the same lady who was being so arrogant. If you want business, you need to have better customer service. Hushing people like their 5 isn't going to cut it. When we were getting our massages, the doors would repeatedly open and people kept coming in and going while we we laying there unclothed and exposed. Once it was time to pay, the same lady told us how much to tip. Tips are up to the customers not the establishment. My husband and I have been coming here for years. Me and my husband usually get the combo one hour body massage 30 minutes foot massage. It is not the fanciest or most upscale massage place in town but if you're a fan of the traditional Chinese acupressure massage then this place is pretty authentic. In the past massages used to be a lot better they would work really hard the whole time applying a lot of pressure and getting in all the nooks and crannies. But now I'm finding they only do that the first 30 minutes and then the rest of the massage is just applying lotion and gently sweeping across with very light pressure. The foot massage is more just relaxing rather than tension relieving I really like the head massage part of it. Thinking of going someplace else in the future. Prices have gone up as well. read more

Did a 1.5 hr full body massage today. I'm just gonna post this because it made me uncomfortable. I'm a women's health nurse practitioner who performs intimate exams on patients regularly so I'm not shy about being naked for a therapeutic massage, however, I left feeling slightly molested. My therapists fingers were too close to my labia and he was massaging my inner thighs a bit much. Hamstrings are in the middle back of the leg and hold the most tension, not the backside of the upper inner thighs. I get a massage every 1-2 weeks so this is not new for me, being massaged and being naked. I go to a Chinese massage place in my town regularly. I only tried this spot because I'm in town visiting. Towards the end of my back massage before flipping me over, he did an intense shoulder stretch where he lifted my chest off the table so much I was practically staring in his face with my bare breasts flashing him. I've never had anyone do that during a massage. Shoulder stretches, yes! That...no. I was in a room with my best friend and her massage therapist like a couples massage but at the end asked my friend if her female therapist did that to her and she said no. It was just extremely uncomfortable and in case anyone else has had this experience, just wanted to put that out there. I'm curious what the culture is in this establishment and what the other therapist though of that. Outside of that uncomfortable situation, My therapists fingernails were long and digging in me at times. The pressure was not hard enough. I did ask 3 different times if he could press harder and he would for a bit but then would return to lighter touch. Sounds like if you try this place you should ask for Kim or Mimi. I almost did. Standard strip center massage place with $35 30 min full body massage & 30 foot massage. It sound like a good deal and while the full body massage can be really good, the foot massage just seems like a waste of time. They do a scalp massage before they move down to your feet, which is nice, but the foot "massage" is more of a foot handling. They do a better job at the full body. Make an appointment first, as sometimes they can be annoyed with walk ins. I kind of gave up going here because the last 3 times I went there has been an intolerable sewer smell. They must need some plumbing work done or something, but the nasty smell ruins the whole experience. For a basic, quick service little massage place, this location is okay. I had brought a huge group of clients and myself in and even my clients felt it was rushed and they didn't like the fact the mas a age therapist would he answering their personal phones or talking to one another during the massage. I also don't like that they DEMAND you pay a certain amount in tip. If your massage therapists aren't good and ruin the massage, it should be up to the customer on what they want to pay. read more

6/27/2018 UPDATE**** YELPERS READ!***** I have been an avid patron for years. Something was a little off when I went in last week. The guy who checked me out was rushing me, and I had never seen him before. He was rude. He asked me to pay before my service because he was leaving (weird, never been asked to pay before the massage and I've been there 40+ times) I went ahead and paid, and tipped cash at the end. The service was fine. NEXT DAY- my card was compromised and identity stolen. The Debit card is a back up account that I never use. It was my first time using that account for a debit transaction in more than 4 months. I do not think it was a coincidence and I will NEVER pay with a card here again. Police report filed, account frozen, all of the various charges (totaling $1,100) have been refunded but its been one hell of a week for me. Thankfully, this was a back up bank account and Chase identified the theft very early on. read more

The man quoted my friend on the phone one price and then when we got there and asked he said no, and pointed to the list of options. Then when she paid for both of our foot massages, and gave each person $5, the management counted the money then yelled at us as we went out the door and pointed to the sign that we didn't tip enough. I love this place. Go once a week for either a one hour combo massage or a 90 minute full body. Kim is my favorite. Mitzi is another good one. The big guy has big hand for smooth, deep pressure. I have recommended this place to everyone I know. The 1 hour foot massage covers head, arms and neck too. I was a member of Massage Heights for a year and tried 90% of the therapists. I have only found one good one there. I just cancelled my Massage Heights membership and now can go here for twice as many massages. I find the reflexology massage is much more effective at relaxing the body than a Swedish massage. When I get up to leave I feel like a limp rag and can barely make it to the door. By far the best foot massages we have every received! My friend and I came for foot massages yesterday after working on our feet for several hours the night before. The technique used here is depp pressure and relaxing (no hard rubbing on the legs or too deep in the arches). We both fell asleep. It was heaven. This place is completely legit and my friend and her daughter have been coming here for years. We brought cash since it was a few dollars cheaper to pay that way. Please tip accordingly. It's never ever EVER ok to ask for or insinuate a tip. My 16 year old son started a new job and level 5 tumbling classes. His feet and back have been bothering him so we stopped here to get him a foot and body massage. My first experience w getting a massage (in Webster) was nasty. The guy kept rubbing his penis on my hand and then told me I had to tip him 40%. Last week I got a nice body and foot massage for 40$ in Houston and tipped 15$. Today I wanted to make sure nothing nasty happened to my child but had planned on tipping 20% for a 36$ Massage no matter what. I had pulled out 6$.... I was doing math in my head and contemplating adding one or two more dollars but before I could make a decision the girl told me I needed to tip 10$-15$ that is was the recommended amount. My wife and I went in for a massage after we left our lunch location. It was very relaxing and calming! We were in chairs (recliner type) for about 35 or 40 minutes, then moved to a massage table where our session was completed. While seated, we received facial massages, head massages (and I'm bald so it was very relaxing), leg and foot massages. All was excellent! Once we moved to the massage tables, they worked on our necks and backs which both are problem areas for me. However, after they finished, I felt like a new person!! I had been a regular visitor of this place in the last 4 years, but my last 3 episodes have been horrible. This place now feels like a money minting business. 1) One morning I went in without an appointment after dropping my son off to school, and the place was still shut down with a guy roaming with his bag and frantically calling his masseurs. I learnt from the Nail Spa next door that there was a police raid on the place the night before (and this wasn't the first time). Upon enquiring more from the guy (who seemed the owner) he said that foot massage does not need license. They however include a back massage with the service and that needs a license and they do not have it. Fast forward 15 minutes into the store. They just had 1 masseur (as others were scared of the police warning). I was the first in line, another lady without appointment, and a group of 4 people who showed up in time for a planned appointment. They rejected me for the other lady who showed up after me without appointment, because she went in with a higher rated service. I was very pissed off, but returned a month later. 2) The second episode saw a new face at the cash counter. Upon requesting a female masseur, she offered to do it for me. They really pushed hard for a combination pack which is $8 extra. I needed a foot massage (which includes a bit of back massage as well). When I was adamant on the foot massage only, she and the same guy (who seems to be the manager) reluctantly had me seated in the chair. It felt like I had a marketing person trying to sell me a service I was not interested in. Fast forward 10 minutes. She begins a good massage and within 5 minutes the rhythm breaks. I have cloth over my eyes so I can't see what the matter is. Then she is continuously talking the the masseur on the next seat in a hush hush voice- concentrating less on the massage aspect. I squirm a little to remind her that I am there. She starts massaging again, then back to loose rhythm & hush hush talking. This time I cough to get her attention. Then the hush hush talking ends, and the massage rhythm breaks yet again and I remove my eye cover & see she is dozing off. Pissed off, I decide not to tip her 20%, but only $5. The Manager has the guts to show me a sign board that says the minimum tip is $10. The lady herself is literally saying something very rudely to the manager and the body language while accepting the tip is so complaining. For a $28 service I am tipping $5, which is about 18%. He goes on to tell me that they work very hard & $10 is the minimum for tip. I then tell him how she was dozing off throughout the massage. He says perhaps she would be tired. HELLO!! I was tired too, that is why I came for the massage. I have never tipped anyone there (before this episode less than $10, but I never had complains before this either). 3) Episode 3: My elderly (80 year old mother) is visiting us. I decide to take her for a massage. I call to make an appointment. Request a female masseur for her and me. They ask what service and say that female masseurs are not available for that service. The voice on the phone isn't very clear, so I call her back. She AGAIN pushes me into the combo pack to get a female masseur. I think I am hearing it wrong. So, I visit them the next day. I walk in the store and the same guy (appears to be the manager) says for a foot massage I can only get a male masseur. My mom is not comfortable, so I walk out. Then he comes lurching to my car to say that he will provide a female- why this drama in the first place? - To sell the Combo Pack? We decide to come back another day as we were in our jeans and not skirts. I go back 2 days after and the same drama repeats - as I walk out of the store a female masseur runs to ask us to return. Before that this manager shows us sheets saying how the females are tired from the last day's hard work. HEY! You started this business- what did you expect? And then when I raise my voice to cross question he rudely asks me to lower my volume. I left that place NEVER to go back again. TAKEAWAYS: 1) They have lesser price if you pay in cash vs credit card - so they can fudge tax filing 2) They FORCE you to pay a minimum $10 tip, which is way beyond 20% of their service fee 3) They REALLY push hard for a Combo Pack, despite having foot massages listed on their menu. 4) They still do back massages without license and multiple police warnings. 5) They never give you a receipt, so you cannot claim anything if they break a bone or too. 6) The manager DESPERATELY needs to learn etiquettes in customer handling. If I could give them negative stars for my last few encounters, I would. Please do yourself a favor- go to a legal & professional place even if it costs you a little more.
