When that day came, I got a text at the agreed upon time that he wouldn't be coming but would be out five days later. I hoped rather than believed him. I texted him the night before to confirm the visit, not wanting to waste yet another day, but received no reply. On that day at the given hour, I received a text saying that he didn't think he could fix it after all and suggested a half-assed workaround. I asked him what changed over the week and got no response. It was obvious to me that he didn't want to be bothered with it. If these people don't want the job, why don't they simply say so rather than leave me waiting for someone who's never going to show? A total waste of time! ETA: I'm a 70 year old woman in need of help around the house and received the following text from John just prior to his post here: Wow just trying to destroy a small business because I didn't wanna do business with you.
