I noticed a couple of staff members in the back area and they did see me and the other people waiting. I'm not sure why they didn't come up immediately. After about 10 minutes, someone finally came to the front counter. After the other person was helped and left, the staff member asked me how she could assist me with a smile. I informed her that I was there for grooming and she directed me to the back area of the store. When I entered the grooming area, the lady greeted me with a smile. She recognized me because I was there at my appointment time. She asked me to sign the disclaimer/policy document, which I did. Then, she came over to take my dog and said I would receive a text 20 minutes before my dog was ready so I could return. She went into the back and started working on my dog. Roughly 1.5 hours later, I received the text and headed over to pick up my dog. When I arrived, the same lady was there and promptly went into the back to get my dog. She asked if I wanted an electronic receipt, and I said yes. I paid and left. Pros: 1. The staff was friendly and welcoming. 2. The lady in the grooming area was friendly and knowledgeable, which made me feel comfortable leaving my dog with her. 3. The price was reasonable for the service provided. Cons: 1. It would be better if someone was always at the front desk to greet people coming in and prevent dishonest people from stealing items. 2. I received a text with a link to the receipt, but it's just a web receipt, so I don't have a way to save it. I would prefer an email version so I can save it to my email folders.

My Yorki came out great, the service was quick (about 2.5 hrs), and the staff was really nice. I just wish they offered anal gland service but otherwise this place is great. Will come again! They are inside of the pet supermarket. The gps / website doesn't make that super clear but there was signage outside of the pet supermarket that helped us find the place.

The groomer either doesn't know what he/she is doing, doesn't know how to groom or just doesn't care or maybe all the above! My pups ears are UNEVEN and look AWFUL! You didn't even trim his head and face area appropriately! You cut way too much off his hair off his body! You left him next to nothing for hair! This visit is my last visit. After 14 years, NO MORE! I've been coming to Riverview Grooming before it was Riverview Grooming. The previous name was Pretty Pups. When I looked up why the name changed, it confirmed why I'm complaining. They used to do such a great job. This past year has really gone downhill!

Milo even ran back to Andrea after he was done, something he had never done before. He's usually running the other way. Milo's mood was much calmer after the appt, than previous groomer appts.

The daughter who had been doing the majority of grooming has her husband and mother working here now to cover shifts and everything has fallen by the waste-side. Most recently the owner went on maternity leave and had her older mother with a shoulder injury grooming and our dog has come home with scissor cuts. It would seem that priorities have changed here and the dogs are not put first. I'm Very disappointed and would never return or recommend them.
