How great was it when I found Fix-A-Fence to know that I was getting exactly what I needed--not just a "handyman" company but a company that knows how to do a wooden fence (or other types I'm sure) right! I called, sent a few photos, and had an estimate in hand the next day. The price was great so I agreed and was added to the schedule. Unfortunately for me we had many days of rain which pushed back my original date a bit but John was good about keeping me updated on a final date. Once we had a new date locked in he had a cancellation come up so I actually got booked sooner than planned (again, great for me!). The arrive on time (a little early even) and had the new gate hung, repairs completed on multiple sections, and a good once-over on the whole fence for some minor repair. Total time from setup to driving away was only a few hours and the work looks great! Also, I really appreciate the advice he gave me on a few "repairs" I had planned for them that he said could be taken care of in a less costly way (i.e. something I could easily do on my own since it was cosmetic work). Great to see someone willing to give me the best work at a very fair price. I highly recommend Fix-A-Fence and will gladly have them back for any future repairs (here's hoping another tree doesn't fall through my fence again!).

I used…read moreCleveland Yardscapes in 2022 to build an outdoor living space and had a tremendous amount of issues: - I contracted them to build a gas firepit for the outdoor living space. First, they never finished it. Second, they didn't pull a gas or firepit installation permit. Since they buried the gas line less than 6 inches below ground and did not insulate the firepit to code, I now have to spend either $10,000 to retrofit it or $4,000+ to remove the firepit entirely. - I contracted and paid them to build a pergola they never completed. - I had to replace the stairs they constructed after two months. When my new (and far superior) contractor removed the stairs, they found Cleveland Yardscapes cut corners by filling the middle of the stairs with excess sand and stone fragments (picture included). The contractor said they had never seen anything like it before. - Even though the contract stated I owed him only after the work was done, the owner would pressure me for money on Fridays to pay his crew. - They estimated it would take 3 - 4 weeks to complete. After three months, it became apparent they were never going to finish. Overall, Cleveland Yardscapes is just not worth the headache. Some of their work was adequate, but they were so difficult to work with, and I now have to spend thousands of dollars to fix or finish the work. For your sanity, I would recommend you stay away from them.

The saying "You get what you pay for" couldn't be more appropriate here. My lawn looked horrible the entire season and I couldn't be more upset. The owners of this company were literally apologizing to me monthly for mistakes made....and these were simple things yet for some reason hard for them to grasp. They made promises and lacked any follow up. Examples: The guys left my fence gate open one day and my dog escaped and was wondering by the main street and almost got hit by a car. I let them know.....so sorry so sorry. But it's happened 3 more times since. They can't seem to grasp simple things like "please make sure my gate is closed". My weeds looked terrible all season, took them 2 months to put my waterfall pump in only for it to be broken. One day they mowed my lawn it looked like a tractor had been there and got more apologies. One time the guys literally left Round-Up packets all over my lawn...they can't even pick up their trash. One week when I was hosting 30 people at my house they just completely forgot to cut and service my lawn. The owners said they had no idea how this happened.....but on their Facebook page they posted pics of them fishing and eating crab legs while on vacation. Also had a payment mix-up one month by total mistake and they just stopped my service without telling me at all. They threw the contract in my face without a simple "Hey we are going to stop servicing you" and made some excuse it was a system issue. They will also get very defensive with you which is just absurd and not professional ONE BIT. Admit you messed up and do better...don't argue and tell me "this doesn't happen to our other customers". We walked the yard 3 times and Adam (owner) never took notes or even followed up on items I was discussing with him, so each walk was a total waste of time. From previous experience...... I KNOW there are much better providers in the Cleveland area! I will NEVER do business with them again! Conveniently they don't allow Facebook reviews........

We reached out to Wiler Fence and Nate, the owner responsed quickly providing a great solution to our project on a large slope with a competive quote. They completed the work, cleaned up everything, emailed us pictures, and sent an invoice. Talk about easy. This could not have gone smoother and we were very pleased with the results. The second was a repair on another project. This fence was already in place and one that was not installed by Wiler Fence Company. We had a leaning fence. Nate provided a quote over the phone, explaining what might need to be done. When the work was done, we called Nate to ask why we did not get an invoice even though he completed the work. Nate explained he was able to repair it without the need to replace any of the posts and there would be no charge. Wow! Needless to say, we will be recommending Wiler Fence Company to everyone we know and will using them on any future new fence installation. In summary, compeitive pricing, great work, easy to busines with and first class customer service!

He does quality, thorough work, and takes time to explain what he's doing along the way. His rates are affordable, too. I was really impressed, and grateful to have discovered him. And the icing on the cake was that, within two days of finishing each project, we received a personal note from him, thanking us for choosing him for our project. We spent thousands on a bathroom remodel last year and never even got a verbal thank-you from the contractor. This was just a small job, and the fact that Lee took the time to write us a note really made him stand out. I would recommend Lee to anyone. As soon as we reached the 3 months mark in the contract I try to reach out to him and did not get an answer to my multiple calls, I texted him letting him know that we are continuing working with another company to finish the project, it took less than 2 hours for him to come and pick up his tools and tarp. And obviously he gave no explanation and no time frame for us to get a final invoice and a refund for the deposit funds that he did not used. Do not hire Brian Watkins and BW Construction.
