Scheduled a move out cleaning two weeks in advance, paid the deposit and they called to verify. The day of the cleaning, I tried calling multiple times to find out what time they planned on arriving and they did not answer once even after leaving two messages. They called me and told me they overbooked and wouldn't be making it 15 minutes before they closed. I had to extend my lease and hire new cleaners for last minute move out cleaning. So I ended up having to pay my apartment MORE money due to non responsiveness and bad business practices. The manager was extremely rude and not helpful other than saying "We will be sure to do better next time you book with us." Why would I book another service after this awful experience? The only positive is that the company Maid Pro has been extremely responsive and helped us with last minute cleaning. read more

I had scheduled a move in cleaning with Lucinda last week, today is Tuesday. She said they have a 2 hour minimum. They charge 75/hour for 2 maids. So minimally I would be paying 150 dollars for the cleaning. I was totally fine with this. She showed up this morning, on time, but with 3 people total and told me it would be 115/hour. I said that didn't seem right to show up with 3 people and a 2 hour minimum without prior notice. She started to get defensive. I told her that I felt a little bit blindsided as that is not what she told me. I said, with a 115/hour that is a 230 minimum. She then got hostile and replied that it would be shorter and if I only wanted 150 dollar cleaning that they would only about an hour and a half. And that if I didn't like it they could just leave as they have 5 other houses to clean today. And so I said "okay" to that. I'm so glad that they have enough business to be rude to their new clients. I had my last cleaning service for over 10 years and I've never had anything like this occur. The escalation of her temper and then basically storming out and being incredibly rude warrants this review which is all true. It wasn't even about the money, I would gladly pay the amount if I had been warned and had been treated respectfully. Oh and she charged me a $50 deposit and will probably try to not refund it even though she is terribly rude and I would never do business with someone with such poor manners. Their cancellation policy clearly states a 48 hour policy. I cancelled 4 days in advance and they refused to refund my deposit. They then tried to state that their cancellation policy was 48 hrs of business day hours which is no where stated on their website. I reached out multiple times via email and they chose to not respond until the day before my service and then say they could not refund my cancellation. I would not recommend such a dishonest service to clean your house as they stole my money. And if you choose to I would recommend using cameras. Completely untrustworthy read more

I cannot comment on their service, but I can tell you that you need to have money growing off tree's to sign up with this company. I was quoted 95 an hour and was told it would take 8-9 hours to clean my house. My house is less then 10 yrs old, We bought the house in Nov 2012 and we had a cleaning service from the time we moved in till a month ago.. I was quoted 3 girls at 95 an hour.. how can it possibly take 3 people 8-9 hours to "deep clean" my 2700 sq ft house? I can do it myself in half that time. I was searching for a new home cleaning service after I moved into my condo, and I learned about A Home Maid Clean through several online reviews. Lucinda, the owner, explained their "green cleaning" services during my initial call and we scheduled a first-time deep cleaning which consisted of scrubbing every corner of my condo from top to bottom - including the baseboards, moving furniture, dusting the ceiling fan blades, and cleaning behind the refrigerator. WOW! Since that initial visit, I have scheduled the ladies from A Home Maid Clean on a monthly basis to keep everything looking it's best. I travel a lot on business, and I'm very comfortable leaving her bonded and insured crews with the key to my front door so that I can come home to a super clean place. For those of us with allergies it's nice to know that they use top-of-the-line vacuum cleaners with HEPA filters, all natural cleaning solutions, and microfiber cloths. No sneezing for me!!! Today I had Maidforhome clean my home for the first time. I used the star rating on Yelp to help me decide which business to choose. The 2 ladies that came showed up right on time. While speaking to Lucinda the previous day she mentioned that if I had any trouble communicating to just call her & she would interpret. That was fine with me, & the 2 employees that came did not understand English. I was given a price of about $100 for 2 cleaners for 1 1/2 hours. They did fine everywhere but the bathrooms. After they were done I went to inspect their work, & found the guest toilet the same as when they arrived. And the tub/shower. The master bathroom was the same. I asked her to come see the guest bath again, but she shook her head no, said "..bleach", which I took to mean the stains would not come out. I was selling my home and tried to clean it up before we listed. My realtor informed me that i needed to hire a professional. I thought i got it clean enough, but i was so wrong. Not a huge fan of their customer service. I purchased this deal with the owner Lucinda from my home state of California (my father lives in Florida) and then attempted to cancel the transaction on the same day. I left messages and nobody returned my call. I had to put a claim in with my credit card company to get the charges reversed, and that is still pending. Still after leaving them messages and the credit card claim, A Home Maid Clean is still trying to set up appointments to clean my father's home. Finally spoke with an employee of the company and she stated she would pass the info on to the owner. It's now been two weeks from the purchase date and no helpful customer service has been provided. I was asked by my nanny family to find someone to clean their house while they were on vacation. I dropped the ball a bit and waited until less than a week until their return to start looking, but I was so lucky to find A Home Maid Clean! Called them on a Tuesday to see if they could fit me in before Sunday. They were extremely prompt in returning my call (less than 30 minutes) and fit me in for a time that worked best for me (they offered a Friday afternoon but changed it to a Friday morning at my request). The maids were very prompt and arrived in the window that was provided to me. They worked quickly and efficiently and finished cleaning the house in two hours. The house is a 2/1 but was very dirty; they moved furniture and did a very comprehensive job (more than I would have done and probably in half of the time). I probably wouldn't use them all the time because of the price ($65/hour for two maids), and because I prefer cleaning my own home, but I will definitely use them if I ever need a deep cleaning job or if I need my house cleaned for a move-in/move-out situation. We always clean our own house, but we were looking for a house cleaning service to come out and give our 4/3 home a thorough 'top-to-bottom' cleaning to give us a good starting point to work from. Lucinda and Lourdes were at the house for 4 hours and did an amazing job, I don't think it's been this clean since we first moved in!
