I fired them I put the trash can where they left it when I signed on like I was told. and they did not pick them up last Friday like they where suppose to. Now they say I have to wait till the 31st of this month. but they do not want to pay me storage for keeping them for them . Now there employee says leave it out by the curb but there is not curb and she dose not get. then they raised the rates but yet they can not pick up the trash. DO NOT USE A J BLOSENSKI. They miss trash pickup almost every week. They literally never pick up my recycling unless I call - and then I have to call several days in a row until they come for it. They canceled the bi-weekly service, but didn't decrease the charge. Today they told me they didn't pick it up because it is not in one of their recycling containers. Here is a picture taken a few moments ago. It is the same container I have had for years, with "recycling" and "A J Blowsenki" on it. It has to be less hassle to find a new trash carrier than to keep calling them week after week. I gave up and canceled service today. Wish I had done it two years ago. This company is the worst company I have ever worked with. They are totally unreliable and their communication is non-existent. Constant missed pick-ups for our trash. You have to then call and wait for someone to come get the trash or they just tell you sorry you have to wait another week. Very difficult to get through to them on the phone. You are always leaving messages and then they have to return your call. Then when you try to cancel your service, they keep giving you dates to pick up the cans and they don't come and no one communicates to you that they changed the date. Again, no one calls or communicates that they changed your date. You are just supposed to miraculously know that your date was changed. They were very reliable before the change of ownership. If there was ever a need to call their office, someone would almost always pickup on the first couple rings. Now, phone tag, constant missed pickpus and delays. In addition, invoices are not issued until 2-3 days before the due date which changes for some reason. Last quater a rate increase notice was sent, seems they got that out in a timely manner. There rates are already higher than most of their competition in my area. I always try to understand and have empathy when things don't go well, but AJB really really dropped the ball. Our service issues started a 3 months ago when they would miss a pickup, but always came a few days later, which wasn't a huge issue. Now they've picked up twice in 2 months and provide zero communication to their clients. Communication: zero. You try to call and you're on hold for 30+ minutes to then get sent to a voicemail and never get called back. I also asked that we send them emails if the wait is too long, but they don't respond. We were clients for ~8 years, but we recently switched services because we just want our trash picked up. If you're thinking of getting service then I'd suggest looking elsewhere. If this company continues operating the way they are now then they will likely not have any clients left. read more

I feel bad for the employees because they have to work for such a failure of a business. The service has gone downhill ever since the change of ownership. Here are examples, - Missed and delayed pickup has become a common occurrence. More than once, we had to run after the truck to ask them to pick up a trash bag. - We paid extra for pickup twice a week (Monday and Thursday). Horrible! For over a year I have struggled to get my trash picked up. Went for an entire month without pickup...that was the longest. Recycling hasn't been picked up since February. Miniscule credit on the bill when I call and complain. The drivers didn't want to back down my lane because it's narrow...however, they have no problems going down narrow alleyways of municipalities with whom they have a binding contract. They just called me to say they are no longer going to be picking up my trash and I have a month to find a new hauler. Beware! They should be shut down by the Department of Health for not picking up their customer's trash and leaving a health hazard on the side of the roads. If you call the office in Honey Brook the ladies are very nice and apologize for the trucks not picking up. They are truly the worst service ever! We have gone with their competotor WhiteTail who hopefully will be better. They are significantly more reasonable by 20%. We have used this same garbage and recycling service for seven years and have never had one issue. I love our guys on our trucks , the office is always polite, 99% of the time we know when a pick up is going to be a different date. It's easy to pay our bills online, and if the rate goes up, we are told with plenty of time. How can you complain when the services perfect . read more

Several weeks, they've just not come at all, I suspect this week will be one of those weeks. It's late Monday evening, my pickup day was THURSDAY AND AS USUAL NO PICKUPO, NO INFORMATION PROVIDED, THIS IS NORMAL. Don't try to call them, THEY DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONES. Our HOA has used AJ Blosenski for many years and never had problems until this past year or so. The service now is horrendous. Our recycling has been missed 4 weeks in a row! Twice it was picked up days late and twice it was not picked up at all, including today, which we were assured would be picked up after they didn't show up last Friday. . if our service does not drastically improve I will be hiring a lawyer to break our associations contract for breach of contract on the part of AJ Blosenski. We accepted a significant rate increase when we signed our last contract because we hadn't had problems with the service and felt a customer loyalty to them. This is how we have been repaid. Just unreal! AJ took over for Eagle in my neighborhood, too, just outside downtown Lancaster. And yep -- as the other reviewers said -- the trash has not been picked up for an entire month! Yep again -- you call and hold for 30 to 90 mins. "Just leave your bins out and they will be by tomorrow". Or "they're in the area and should be by soon". From a manager: "I'll make sure they get it today". Promises, promises. So, yeah, for a month the trash has been sitting on the curb festering and overflowing. Wtf is happening? At what point is this a public health issue and the townships / counties get involved? Yes we are switching companies (clearly no choice here). But what about the poor guys who will now be cleaning the overflowing, rotten filth all over central PA? Well, live and learn! Appreciate your garbage crew if you've got a good one! Terrible service. Regular trash and recycling are often not picked up on the schedule that they set up. They rarely get back to you when you call or email them about issues with the pickup schedule. This causes issues with wild critters like raccoons getting into the trash. Very disappointed since I paid for trash pickup through 2024. Avoid at all costs. They frequently skip weeks altogether for my neighborhood and often miss individual pickups when they show up. Just got a notice that they will be picking up recycling biweekly for the remainder of the year. The notice referenced a previous letter, which I never received, that supposedly explained "enhancements" to the recycling pickup. I can't imagine what these so called enhancements would be, but the only enhancement to my service that I would be interested in is a reliable pickup. read more
