We talked through what I needed, I sent him photos, and he called me right back to explain what he could do. He came out to take a look at the job (didn't charge me to come out), we agreed on an estimate, and he started the work the very next day. Throughout the entire process, Mickey was communicative, professional, and reliable. He called me multiple times to keep me updated, sent photos of the progress at the end of each day, and clearly explained what was completed and what was next. He finished the job on the second day exactly as promised and continued to send photos and updates until everything was done. If you live in the Joshua Tree area, you know how difficult it can be to find contractors who actually show up, aren't flaky, communicate well, and truly know how to run a business. Mickey is all of that and more. He is dependable, knowledgeable, organized, and clearly takes pride in his work. I'm extremely happy with the results and grateful I found him. The bid he gave me was more than fair. To do the work I wanted, he had to move some heavy stuff around my yard with his equipment. Which he didn't jack up his price for. The roof was 60 years old with no leaks but because our remodel tied into that half of the roof needed to be redone. A year and a half ago some tiles blew off in a storm but we assumed that it was affected by other blowing debris. This week we had tiles blown off when another storm came in that was not nearly as strong as the last one. At this rate, we will be lucky to have the roof even reach 10 years let alone 60 years like it had been. They had very poor workmanship & we will certainly never call them again.
