To my delight, a local news station ran a piece on this woman owned business, which is in Edmond. I finally made it into the store and it is filed with the most beautiful sparkles I have ever seen. I felt myself light up and smile just by walking in the door. The jewelry is laid out like candy, shiny, colorful, bold, beautiful candy that you can't believe is real. Rings, hair gems, baby jumbo rainbows, jumbo rainbows and necklaces pulsing with bright light. I bought mini jumbo black earrings... from goth to night and a jumbo sea glass inspired set of rainbow earrings... just because. This business is all about the inner Sparkle... kindness, inclusion and representation. EVERYBODY deserves to sparkle and shine at Feed ME Gems. My daughter does not want to pierce her ears (yay body autonomy) and she has some sensory issues. I was so happy to see that you can make your own clip on earrings in store. I selected some blingy pink hearts and the staff helped me secure the clip on backs. You can also make hair clips and earrings for pierced ears. But, at the last minute they want to charge you for almost the highest rate 250 for a GIA evaluation, to do a consignment. He said the 275 cost is because I want to go to the front of the line and have anything they do with my diamond done in front of me. I wasn't a walking, I had waited my turn and scheduled an appointment. So, it's almost a bait and switch. If you agree to let them clean it and check it, they want to take it to another location and give the diamond back 2 weeks later. But some people say the diamond they get back doesn't have the same clarity as the diamond they had originally. That's a concern, so don't let your diamond out of your sight, it's very easy for disreputable people to switch out a real diamond for a lad grown diamond that lacks the original natural diamond's value. We cannot pretend we live in a high trust society anymore, fraud is everywhere. Stay with your diamond at all times, the same Oklahoma stores are also already know to sell fake faux jewelry to unsuspecting people. I'm very unhappy with the bait and switch tactics I encountered. Furthermore, their insistence to creat a situation that requires me to leave a 10C fancy yellow diamond with them unsupervised , in spite of the fact that I had scheduled an appointment well in advance. Went back to pick it up and two of the letters had been messed up and the glass had been badly scratched. We brought it to their attention and they told him I had done it. We disagreed. It did not go in that way and they knew it. Cause if it had, they would have asked him if he wanted it fixed and cleaned not just cleaned. They finally agreed and "fixed" it for me. One week later the lettering they had "fixed" all came off again. They refused to do anything about it. This was a $225 Michael Kors watch. Do not trust them with your jewelry!
