As my vintage watch was being assessed for potential repair and cost, I was standing at the counter and could hear the whispering discussion just feet from me, but it was though I wasn't there. Rather discourteous ... why didn't the gentleman (the owner?) assessing my watch (which wasn't appreciated at all for its "vintageness" ... it was all about the cost to fix) come to talk to me directly instead of through his assistant? And the costs were confusing ... first it was $295 plus parts at a minimum, then it was $100 to examine it .... he didn't seem interested in explaining the process to me, seemed impatient with having to. Plus I paid an exorbitant amount for a couple of watch batteries, but that was my fault ... with the positive ratings, I had had hopes of getting all my needs met in one place. You'd think that repairing and dealing in vintage and beautiful jewelry would be a happy and fun customer service business. My experience was unfriendliness, aloofness, (aside from the assistant who was nice and helpful), and dare I say, a wee bit of arrogance. I've marked JewelSmiths off my list. read more

I went to get a ring resized from 9.5 to 7.5. Before they charged me, I asked if I could have the extra pieces back as it is an heirloom. The lady behind the desk waved me off and said "that is included" when I came back to get the ring, they didn't try to match up the details at all, and refused to give me back the pieces stating "included means that the jewelry shop keeps the pieces" and they were "too small" anyway. To resize a ring from 9.5-7.5, there's almost 1/2 a centimeter taken off. There's plenty to give back. The manager just lied about it instead to keep the metal, which I did not get a credit for. If the sales lady was upfront about taking the extra metal and keeping it, I wouldn't be upset, but due to the fact that she waved me off and made me think my ask was reasonable, then gaslit me after, I lost a part of an important heirloom to my family. read more

10/10 I couldn't have had a better experience here with the customer service and repair that was done. I want to preface this by saying I searched all over OKC and Edmond for a place to get my mom's necklace repaired. A stone had fallen out and it's a sentimental piece, so she really wanted to keep it. I was reading reviews of place after place that were not good and it made me worried about where to take it and finding someone I could trust to do a good job. I found jewelsmiths and they had amazing reviews. I decided to give them a chance and took the piece in saying I needed it done before Christmas. I took it in about 9 days ago and they said it would take around a week and they called me exactly a week later saying it was ready. It looked just like it did brand new and the price was also very reasonable. The repair person that they have is incredible and has been doing it for decades. I came to JewelSmiths because the stone on my engagement ring was loose. I think the prongs were not set properly even though I've taken it to two different jewelry repair shops before. I'm so thankful that I took it to them because now it is no longer loose and I think the problem is fixed! I was ready to leave my watch band with them, but they said hold on a minute & I'll see what I can do. 5 minutes later I had my watch band in hand ready to go, and all for $10. Rose Angela and Larry went SO far beyond the call of duty to bring my grandmas ring back to life for me.
