His mom had past last March and they told him that he needed to give them that months payment and also $80 on top of that for the extension. That is ridiculous. His mom had just past and we needed to pay for airline tickets and a hotel. We didn't have the extra. Then we got the payment caught up they tell him that he is still a MONTH behind. If I could rate lower I would! Unfortunately we had our vehicle repossessed about 6.5 years ago due to job loss. Within a month this company sold the vehicle and notified us via certified letter we were no longer accountable per the terms of the agreement we signed. Now as we're looking to move we are shocked to see that not only was that false we owe more than what the vehicle is worth! Now we just wanted to get this matter taken care of and spoke to the most awful person. We explained we knew they sold the vehicle and got 1600 dollars less than what was left to pay, so we offered to pay that amount as they've already received most of the money. This woman was snide and just a terrible person. We weren't trying to get out of it but pay what ever was left after all it's 6.5 years old isn't something better than nothing? This is possibly the worst company I have ever done business with! They take advantage of people who don't have the best credit and will harass you and your references to no end! My wife bought a car from them in 2008 I was the co-signer for the vehicle. Well, the car was repo the same year 2008. As of 02/24/2020 they are trying to garnish my wages for a vehicle that has been repo in 2008. This company is terrible. I have never been late on a payment and they have sent me three different letters with the wrong payment date and amount saying that I owe them. When I call in they say that they do not have anything in their records about the letters. They also messed up my social security number in their system so when I called them for the first 3 times, they would not release any information to me and it took a very long time for them to fix the problem. They also only report to one credit bureau and if you pay your loan off early, you get penalized for it. They have no way of letting you know if they received your payment either. You can only pay them by driving to them, mailing in a payment or sending a payment through western union bill pay(which costs $25.) They won't accept my personal checks anymore but I work during their business hours so I have my boyfriend pay my bill in cash for me (they're located 20 mins away) only for him to get harassed and asked millions of questions to see if he's driving my car...first off it's my car so none of their business. And no we both have separate vehicles he hates my car. He deals with someone named Natasha...she will harass you to the max. I can't seem to contact their office anymore. I've never had a problem with these people. they've always been very polite and courteous with me. I've been a couple days late and never gotten anything more than a reminder letter. the one time I was unable to make a payment, they were very helpful and allowed me to skip that month and just tacked it on to the end of the loan. of course the interest rate is high, but that's what you get when you have bad credit. they took a chance on me when no one else would. I've been making payment to this company for a little over 3 years and they aren't my 1st choice since I do have bad credit but that is on me. What I am writing about is how I was treated recently. Mailed my check off in June and they never received it so I resent one. It's been a week and it hasn't cleared. I contacted Natasha this morning and she said they received the check but can't post it since I had two back to back NSF over a year ago(2014). I explained that April 2015 and May's 2015 payment cleared the bank and I couldn't understand why I wasn't notified that they received my checks but couldn't post it or even let me know since I was under the assumption since they accepted the two other recent payment's via check? She didn't have a reason for it. This is very frustrating because now I have to drive 25 minutes to make a cash payment so I don't run the risk of a repo. :( read more

Not to my liking so far. Between these people and Peoria Nissan I am questioning if getting my car was worth all this hassle. I had spent a total of 2 days getting the car at Peoria Nissan (mind you this isn't a brand spanking new car, it's a well taken care of 2009 Nissan Versa that might not run as smoothly this time next year) all that time at the Nissan I was signing papers calling insurance agencies getting full expensive coverage for my 22 year old self just to please these people, verifying and giving them references just to get a call from these people 10 days later after driving off the lot that my loan was never even finalized and that they basically need pretty much verification of everything that I spent hours doing at the dealership. Like are you ****ing serious? New references? Verify insurance? Address? Utility bill? For one I don't have my managers personal phone number and even if I did that doesn't give me the right to just be giving out people's phone numbers like that. Why do you need a utility bill? The credit card bill mailed to me with my address wasn't good enough? What makes one piece of mail more reliable than the other? You need to verify my insurance? I already called you guys on July 10th to verify this and was charged $470 for the full coverage insurance just to satisfy you and now you want me to go through that whole process again? If you guys needed more information why didn't you tell me this before I drove off the lot? I just moved out of my parents house and in between that, getting ready for another year at college, and having everyone bill you like crazy like you're some type of money forest it's stressful as hell and unfortunately I have to work a lot of hours and I don't have time to be going back trying to fix every thing you guys made an error. I'd rather you not have let me take the car off the lot until you got what you needed because at least if something happened to where this car had to be repossessed I would've at least had my trade in car. read more

This is not a good company. If you are on day late you will be non stop harassed. Even though I have made a payment arrangement with these people, they still call me daily. Liz has called me every single day this week. I am going to be blocking their number! I know when my payment is due, I do not need you calling me daily to remind me. I'm not even 30 days late and I still get harassed DAILY. Not to mention they don't even report to all major credit bureaus. They say "every day late is more interest which isn't good for your credit". Honestly, you don't even report to all 3 major credit bureaus so it doesn't matter. I am in the finance business at www.CarFinancer.com and here in the valley since 1987. I use AL Financial as a lender when the opportunity becomes needed. They grant auto loans to people that have to re-build their credit. Their interest rates go from as low as 12. percent to 24. percent based on the customers past credit performing. I try to tell people "to never be late on ANY of your loans. If your payment is due on the 1st of the month it's late on the 2nd of the month and you have broken your word to repay." Also you can only go into the place to pay, or western union the money but have to pay a fee to send the money on top of it. Well they moved out of San Diego so I had no choice to western union it every time. Also they never reported to the credit bureau so now my credit score doesn't have my car loan on it. ALSO, I at the end of last year I decided to just pay the remaining balance off, they said you'll receive your title in a few weeks from the DMV. I waited, nothing. I called the DMV and they stated it got sent out awhile ago, they read me the address that AL Financial provided them and it wasn't even close to my address. It's like they just made up a address. Also it doesn't matter if your on time for every single payment, they will NOT give you a extension, not even a 1 day extension. They were truly a nightmare to deal with. read more

We made the mistake of buying a car from a crummy lot in Glendale, Az. They stuck us with this obnoxious company. They are rude unprofessional and generally default to horrible. We sent them a payment from a refinance of our home. We have FedEx tracking which was signed for and they refused to acknowledge they have the payoff.
