I would find out that all this vetting wasn't enough. To cut to the chase - what ruined it all was her lack of clear communication and taking my time for granted. She required payment upfront (before the session), which is fine, except I could not find the paypal link she says she sent to me. She sent no email to alert me that the session was canceled, so I showed up and waited for her for 30 minutes! I called, left messages, and emailed - but I didn't hear back until days later. Her emails read as short tempered. She spent no time trying to correct the problem (she didn't "re-send" her paypal link). And showed little interest in scheduling with me. To give her a second chance I tried rescheduling for the next week, but when I told her that I'm working with other coaches she demanded that I choose one and to let her know if it was her. No thanks lady, thats not how you talk to clients. To summarize my experience: Minneapolis Life Coach - wasted my time - didn't communicate clearly - made unnecessary demands of me If I meet other life-coaches that act like this I will give up on the whole idea of life coaching.

With her support and suggestions, I've been successful in my third attempt to taper off anti-anxiety meds. From my first visit, it was clear that it was a good investment. Dr. Montgomery had spent a lot of time reviewing past labs and my intake forms, and was a wonderful listener. She walked me through her thinking about how to get more info about what was going on with my body and how to support my health. All her ideas were holistic, pragmatic (considering cost, feasibility, etc.), and systematic (maybe try this first, then this...), and she didn't make any assumptions or take anything for granted. I love that she has a background in both naturopathic medicine and Chinese medicine and integrates those approaches. I've been seeing Jules weekly throughout my pregnancy and anxiety med taper journey, and I feel confident that our sessions have been crucial in helping me maintain a stable mood, physical comfort, and overall good health during this important time in my life.
