The tow truck and its operator were first-rate. The driver couldn't have been nicer nor done a better job of hooking the car up and pulling it onto the flatbed truck. My car, actually it's a truck based SUV, is all-wheel drive and the driver said don't worry it won't be a problem and it wasn't. He ratcheted all points of the car down, and it was good to go. It turned out to be a fuel pump that went bad, thankfully it was fixed very quickly.

Did not have the extra money to spare but I sucked it up and called Alarmtronix. I was informed that I should arrive by 9am, to get me in right away, and I arrived bright and early by 8:45am. They got me in right away and began installing the alarm. Took close to 3 and 1/2 hours but the wait was worth it due to the peace of mind it brought me. [Also becoming a legal gun owner, having obtained my Wisconsin Conceal and Carry License brought even more peace of mind!] lol. The alarm is GREAT! It's made by Compustar, has a 2-way pager with scrolling messages that tell the owner if the shock sensors were activated or if the doors or trunk were triggered and more! The shock sensors are sensitive but not overly sensitive during my testing. After enabling the shock sensors via the remote and enabling the alarm, I tested all areas of my vehicle. I gave the windshields, front and back, a firm knock and the alarm blared immediately! I pulled up on all four door handles and the alarm went off immediately! I even began knocking against the lower body of my vehicle and the alarm blared immediately! [Alarmtronix staff were friendly, courteous and did an excellent job installing my new car alarm on a pretty old vehicle and the price of the new alarm plus installation was more than reasonable! $239.99 plus tax totaled $253 and some change. I will be a repeat customer for as long as they are in business!] Prior to doing business with Alarmtronix, I looked online for car alarms and the price of the alarms alone were close to $200 dollars! LASTLY, NO ONE has bothered my vehicle after getting the alarm installed and the broken vent window fixed! Also, the young couple who don't legally pay for parking, who I think were the ones breaking into my vehicle, STOPPED parking next to my car altogether! Anyways, It wasn't til I got home when I saw their response on Google Maps that really didn't sit right with me. What they posted and sent me in text messages were things they didn't tell me when they asked me to keep my car overnight I had just found out with the internet because of the review all the reasons why they asked to keep it. I didn't know there was already an alarm on the vehicle working or not (I just bought the vehicle 2 days prior), I didn't know that it took 2 hrs extra because of this, I didn't know that the owner had to come in 2 hrs early the next day to finish my vehicle, I didn't know that your policy is usually only take drop offs before 8am because you never said this to me, you broke your own policy and blaming me for it. None of this was explained to me til a day AFTER I paid them, drove away and left a review. He stated it as if they did me a favor, a favor I didn't even know I was getting, how could I be grateful for you saving me $200 and you never told me what or why? When they asked to keep my car, I asked why and they responded "car stuff" and issues with the car before me. So now I am in a situation that if I ever have an issue with my alarm (which I don't think I will) I will never go back. The receipt they gave me says ALARM WITH REMOTE START ON FACTORY-INSTALLATION OF COMPONETS- YOU SAVED $200 then shows the 582.00 after tax on a sheet of paper and then a smaller receipt stapled to it for 596.00 no mention of brand or model just blank. I just don't get it, it was a professional exchange and the work was done, the employee was cool and I was satisfied when I shook his hand and drove away, not once was their attitude with me or him so all that was well. It was the review I left on Google Maps that got us here. Once again I will say it "It was an inconvenient purchase for me."

I call them and spoke with Jill and talked to her about it and she said "yes, they had other people this had happened to and they are working on it". At the same time I was having my home insulated by USA Insulation and their their truck spilled chemicals over my newly done driveway. So I had two problems with the same driveway. USA Insulation agreed to pay for their portion of the damage in multiple stages if necessary regardless of the price. Poblocki drafted a letter which was signed by USA Insulation and Pobocki promising to supervise the redoing of the driveway. I called numerous times trying to get some idea when this was going to get resolved and heard nothing. Finally I received a call from Jill telling me that Poblocki was selling the business and she would get back to me after everything was settled. Jill called last March telling me that they are now ready to proceed and as soon as two of her people have returned to Milwaukee they would be out to evaluate the current condition and they would move forward. I would not have to be home to meet with them. In April their crew was here for four hours power washing the driveway. I assumed they were preparing it for the work to be done. Since then I heard nothing. Last week I call Poblock and was told that Jill quit her job and that they would get back to me. I explained everything, again. I have heard nothing and am fearful that my next step is to hire an attorney to pursue them which is unfortunate since they have a financial commitment from USA Insulation and the only balance would have to come from them to cover the defective asphalt they applied which caused the problem. So anyone thinking Poblocki Paving whose reputation was always "the best" is going to stand behind their name and service needs to think twice before hiring them. It has been a dreadful situation for any homeowner to struggle through. They just don't care. I attempted to upload photos of the damaged driveway but had difficulty. I will keep trying.

We came to know of Express Towing & Recovery under extremely unfortunate circumstances. We were…read moretraveling on I94 during a winter storm when another car spun out and hit us, rendering our car un-driveable. (No one was injured. The car did not survive.) It was the Waukesha Sheriff Deputy that called Express Towing for us. Tim arrived on scene and immediately got to work assessing the job, helping us figure out how to get home and making sure we stayed safe on the side of the highway. In the end Tim took us to a nearby hotel and waited while we checked for a vacancy. Before he left he gave us a run down on what we needed to do and the things that would be put in motion over the next few days. The next day we met him at the tow yard to get some things from the car and he was just as helpful and friendly as the night before. When I called to report the accident to my insurance company they specifically said that we were working with one of the best tow companies in the area. I couldn't agree more.
