He gave a reasonable quote for the work to be done: putting a new mailbox on a post). He agreed to come the NEXT day! He arrived on time! He efficiently and professionally completed the job! He charged very fairly based on his quote! He even listened to me with respect and answered my questions! This might not seem like much, but I have contractors not show up at all, come hours late, bump-up the charge after the work was done, (without a reason), not listen to my expectations or request and do it "their way ", bungle the job, and be generally rude, as they are "the boss." So, it was wonderful to have The Fixit Guy do what I requested the "right way" in a pleasant manner for a fair price. Next time I need a small home repair, guess who I am going to call!

I had a piece of duct work fall off the vent under my house. I tried to duct tape it back together myself but it fell off a few days later so that's when I decided to start looking. Of the various companies I reached out to, I was mostly ignored, one no-show, no-call, got on the schedule with one other company but they had a minimum charge and the appt was a week & a half away. I told that company to put me down, but I was going to try to find someone who could come sooner. An odd Google search pulled up The 843 Handyman and I'm thankful! Jeremiah was extremely responsive, communication was an ease, no minimum charge and was able to come out a few days later. Weather delays things for him a bit but he stayed in touch, and was able to make it a few hours after the intended time. I was home all day and he kept me in the loop. He explained what he was going to do, showed me the work once done, and was professional and personable. As I mentioned, I won't go looking next time; I'll just reach out to Jeremiah and would absolutely recommend to anyone needing handyman services in a timely manner for a fair price. Two thumbs up!

These projects were not inexpensive, but I felt that the value is there for the craftsmanship, warranty and overall experience. I appreciate that they answer their phones when you call and they get back to you quickly. The craftsmanship is excellent. Jose and his team really did impressive work. I appreciate the fact that Chip who oversaw several aspects of our projects helped to advise us whenever we had questions. In all 4 projects, I never had a concern about who was coming to work at our home. The crews left the work sites clean and orderly and always took great care to make sure our yard was cleaned off. (I can tell you there aren't many companies who actually do that!) The project wasn't always perfect, but no construction ever is. Here is where Express Sunrooms set themselves apart. When my husband and I weren't happy with part of the project, Express made it right. They truly stand behind their work and resolved our concern. However, surprise,surprise after fill installation we were told that's not even an option for unspecified reason. And of course my contract did not specify the length so we were stuck. Then the installation crew damaged the framing to my porch. Instead of fixing it properly they just offered us money to do it ourselves which was not suitable and did a bad patch job when they finally returned. Now to the present, 3 of my shades are broken and I have been calling the office for over 1.5 month and the "service" person has never responded or called.
