I had amazing prenatal and postnatal massages with Priscilla! Her space feels safe, warm, and inviting, and she is very personable and relatable. I was in a lot of pain carrying twins. She hit all of the sore spots and helped me to relax. I think I saw her once before birth and once or twice after. I had 1 prenatal massage at a different establishment, and I'd thought prenatal massage was an overpriced gimmick based on that prior experience. I wish I found Priscilla sooner! I came to her at 35 weeks pregnant, so this is probably my last pregnancy massage with her. She was so attentive and caring, super funny and easy to talk to as well. She got all my troubled areas and I haven't felt this relaxed in a while. Usually, every time I get a massage, they either go too hard or too soft since I'm tiny. But the pressure she gave was perfect! Her table is also pretty comfortable and can be heated. I asked her to turn it off though because I run hot. I had my second session with her (note: I am currently 7 months pregnant) and she took care of every single knot, ache, and troublesome area in my body that comes along with pregnancy, all within just that one session. She starts off every session really grasping what type of massage you're looking for, along with addressing every troublesome area in your body so she can customize it to your needs and wants, which I LOVE. Most places are very routine and focus on certain areas in a timely fashion and it's usually the same every time. Priscilla's however, is a very customizable session to fit the need of the client to offer optimal wellness and relaxation. Also, her space is just as beautiful and warm as she is. Everything is detailed, clean, and she goes above and beyond by providing amenities for her clients such as hair ties, bobby pins, complimentary water/ peligrino, snacks, charging station for your phone, and chocolates to make you feel right at home. And, if that doesn't convince you enough of how amazing this massage was and the care she has for her clients, yesterday I had the worse pain in my shoulder, and it needed some serious work. It had been keeping me up all night for a couple of weeks now, and we ended up going over our hour time frame and she didn't charge me nor wanted to charge me for that additional time because she just wanted to do anything in her power to help grant me relief. My shoulder felt absolutely amazing yesterday and still today and I slept like a baby last night for the first time in a long time. I truly can't thank her enough! Priscilla absolutely loves what she does and loves to go above and beyond for all of her clients. Solid 5/5! I'm a first time mommy to-be soon, and am having some of the typical discomforts of the 3rd trimester phase of the pregnancy. The low back pain, tight back leg muscles, shoulder/neck straining, not to mention lack of sleep and other digestive discomforts associated with pregnancy. I've been searching for a massage therapist who was willing to see a pregnant client well into their 3rd trimester. My usual spot unfortunately does not accept pregnant clients who are past 32-33 weeks, and I honestly thought I was unable to get a massage in until baby was out. Well, after a random yelp search, I found Priscilla, who was willing to take matters into her hands! Hands down, the best prenatal massage I've ever received. She was very attentive to the trouble spots I mentioned and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire session. She utilizes a body pillow for us preggie ladies, and it really made me relax on the table. I felt well taken care of before, during, and after my session. Her attention to details, kind personality, and therapeutic massage just shows how much she loves her job and deeply cares for her clients. If there is any negative, it is the fact that I didn't see her sooner from my 2nd trimester! I've already booked my 2nd session because of how effective her massage was. Priscilla is great!! So down to earth. For my prenatal massage, she had a BODY PILLOW!! All other places I've gone to for prenatal have a normal size pillow but the massage is uncomfortable because I sleep with body pillows normally, so this was an added plus right off the bat. I also started to experience numbness at the top of my belly, towards the side and she was able to massage the area and other muscles connected...well during the massage the numbness started to dissipate! Then she showed me some easy stretches to so on my own, and it totally helped. Very cool. I'm able to bring my own essential oils, which just tops it off, but she also has her stash too :). I had been suffering from severe ice pick headaches in the back of my neck for a week before my session with Pricilla. I was convinced I needed to see the doctor and that was something I was not looking forward to. Not to mention the toughness of just getting through the day with this pain. I came here because i have bad upper back and feet pain and Priscilla is wonderful! She wants to know exaxtly what is going on with you first and find out where your pain is the most. She will make sure through your whole massage if your doing okay and how is the massage level. A lot of therapists dont do what she does.
